Symbicort wasn't working...my lungs still feel tightness. Dr. Prescribes Advair 250 discus.
As my post title says, the doctor prescribed Advair, but the pharmacy gave me Wixela Inhub,
fluticasone
propionate and
salmeterol
inhalation powder 250 mcg/ 50 mcg. First of all, is this the same? Anyone here know if these 2 medications are equivalent to each other?

Experience of Using Alvesco (Ciclesonide)
Since being diagnosed with late onset asthma (I am 63) in October 2020, I have been prescribed four different medications for my condition. Fostair 100/6, Relvar 92/22, Fobumix Easyhaler 160 4.5 and Combisal 25-125. The reason for the range of products prescribed, is linked to the horrendous side effects

B12 symptoms/fluticasone
Question: I’ve been recovering from b12 deficiency since February 2019. Probably 3-4 years or more of being deficient. Seemed like I was doing better. Have itchy feeling on skin since Aug 2019- don’t know if it’s allergies or nerve problems. Anxiety had gone. Now-anxiety and stomach issues are back

I have had this deep hacking cough for 18 months. In all seasons, indoors and outdoors. Often I will bring up thick phlegm. It sounds like a smokers cough and I do not smoke and live in a smoke-free environment. I also wheeze. I have Asthma so my RT increased my Fluticasone puffer to 2 puffs 2 x

Struggling
Hi all, hopefully you can give me advice. I’ve had asthma for years but it’s always been stable using clenil, salmeterol and salbutamol. Beginning of March it started to play up and over the following 2 months I had 2 courses of antibiotics and 2 courses of steroids which seemed to settle things down

Hi all, I’m in desperate need for some help and advice. I have suffered from noise-induced T since 2003 which has always been pretty manageable. Hi! I’ve had asthma all my life but very mild apart from a bad attack age 3! I go for weeks without needing an Inhaler and I’m reasonably fit, I run quite a bit! Anyway about 8 weeks ago I started using salmeterol (purple and white) twice a day as a preventor as I was noticing my asthma a little! Then
