Help please advice for my horse's asthma
Hi all I hope nobody minds me joining this group on behalf of my horse who seems to have severe asthma. She seems to have allergic asthma with high eosinophils in her lung wash fluid, but I'm sure one of her main triggers is ozone pollution in the air. Throughout Autumn she had severe attacks lasting

Is Pred Stopped / Rationed once you’re on Biologicals (Xolair / Mepo)?
Am eligible for Biological Treatment and wondering if Pred is prohibited or rationed when you start treatment with Mepo or Xolair? When my Asthma flairs up and I take a Pred Burst, one positive side effect is temporary return of my sense of smell / taste (which ‘senses’ are otherwise almost entirely

After chatting to the community I decided on a GP visit which ended up with new meds Sirdupla
Well I visited the GP on Thursday 3rd August with all my concerns I saw a different GP than previously and he confirmed that there absolutely is links between breathing issues and acid re-flux but he also said that as i'm not feeling any re-flux issues I must be managing that issue well with the omeprazole

Doctor App. Tomorrow! Maybe some results this time!!
OK so I go to the doctor in the morning. I've been to the hospital for ct scan it came back ok. Had "fluid behind ear drums". Seen a ENT said it was ears sweating..... And have to have nasal surgery. Well, still I'm having fluid come out my ears everyday, not leaking but I can feel like water coming

Seretide causing tremor?
Had a lot of trouble over the last 12 weeks or so with shortness of breath, which a respiratory specialist now believes were not purely asthma exacerbations and were more likely virus/infection related. Anyway, whilst my SOB was bad I was upped from my regular Seretide 100 to Seretide 250. Since starting

Spike and block
So i've just found this forum as i'm guessing the old one moved so i've had to rejoin. This morning i was fine until i lay on my right ear for a second then it spiked and blocked and is still blocked and ringing with my usual friend but louder and not giving up, it's been so long since this happened.

Will this be permanent?
Hey guys, here's my story. I'm a saxophone player, and have been for the last 9 years. Last On Sunday evening (19/3) I attended a band rehearsal that was in a much smaller room than I was used to with a band that played much louder music than I'm used to. The rehearsal went on for 4 hours, and due to

Qvar And Fluticasone Inhalers
Hi Folks My question is, if you use - or have used - a Qvar or Fluticasone Inhaler (of the type that only delivers the fine particle steroid but not a LABA component) how do you (did you) get on with it? Any observations on side effects or other issues with those devices? I'm currently using both Clenil
