Triple Antibiotic Treatment for Blasto Parasite infection?
However, I've also read that UK GP's tend to only want to treat it with one antibiotic:
Flagyl
, and that this is not really at all effective. My GP insisted that I repeat my stool tests with the NHS and I should speak to her soon re treatment (if the Blasto has indeed shown up in their tests!).

Post infection IBS
Long story short had 4 courses of antibiotics 2 with
flagyl
, 1 with cipro at the same time as
flagyl
, 1 with humatin and finally my naturopath figured it out. I had cyclospora. So 1 more with bactrim. I lost 22 pounds in 1.5 months.

Post infection ibs after c.diff
Flagyl
failed , vancomycin failed after 2 weeks. Looks like a tapering dose of vancomycin for over two months finally worked . My problem now is I got post infection ibs. Seen gastro Drs but don't look like they can help either .

Everytime I go to the doctors they just give me
flagyl
but it comes back within a week or two. The smell is very bad, I have really no pain or iching or any symptoms just this annoying smell. I had a sti and pid 3 years ago im not sure if that has anything to do with it.

The challenges of treating C-diff prior to treating CLL
WE learned that
Flagyl
doesn't work given our compromised immune systems and that most Insurance Companies won't pay for the one drug that WILL work, Vancomycn. 'Vanco' started in the hospital showed early signs of working BUT your Doc's Rx for Vancomycn CAPSULES costs $3,000!

Update, update post surgery...
Plus my doc gave me dose of
flagyl
just in case, knowing how unlucky I was post biopsy. Plus she also made it clear that she wants me back in the clinic by Monday lol.
