burning sensation on my scalp
FCR
in 2012. I am participating in the ACP 196 study since March this year. Then I started Ibrutinib. It has gone well for a while but since a month I have a very burning sensation on my scalp, and stitches and hair loss. Also nerve pains in my body. I have had a nerve block that did not help.

Just to summarize - he is 58, diagnosed 3 1/2 years ago but with symptoms for many years before that, 13q, 11q & trisomy 12, relapsed quickly after
FCR
, on ibrutinib for 9 months, scheduled for stem cell transplant in January.

Round 2 FCR complete
I have completed round 2 of
FCR
and am past the lowest point (10 days post) so am starting to recover. The infusion days themselves were easy. I have a port so it is a simple hook up and away they go. No reactions day one and two, but by end of day 3 I was starting to feel some nausea.

FCR + Ibrutinib trial
The trial sounds like a no-brainer in terms of the potential to lengthen remission and it also seems that blood counts dont go as low on the i +
FCR
as they do on just the
FCR
.

Just diagnosed
He is proposing
FCR
early treatment to the hospital tumor board based on my age of 55. I may lose my job and insurance soon. So if
FCR
is an option, I hope I can get it asap.

Jules is back and my plans for 2018 are
Since we started fundraisng we have now raised 35k - Its is great to see all these new treatments coming along,
FCR
was the gold standard when I was first diagnosed.

Husband with CLL in Rituximab Therapy
He had a
FCR
tratment when his white cells were very high and the platelet level was low. He was OK until last month. He suddenly lost 10 pounds in a month, and started to sweat extremly when sleeping.

Have Relapsed From FCR and looking for best choice for Round Two
Didnt make it so settled for
FCR
. Took four rounds of

Professional nutritional support for PWP in the UK
I am looking for a knowledgeable nutritionist, ideally in London, able to provide individualized advice on good nutrition e.g. for slowing progression, correcting weight loss, supporting intense exercise and solving interaction problems with Parkinsons's meds. Any recommendations? New'ish on this site

FCR after failing B/R?
My oncologist mentioned the possibility of
FCR
at some point. I am 72 years old and in good health. My question is shouldn't
FCR
be first line? Would you take
FCR
or Imbruvica? What are your thoughts? Thank you for your reply. Sue Atlanta GA

Enlarged spleen
It's looking more likely I'll be getting treatment pretty soon, probably
FCR
. Can anyone tell me their experiences of this regime? Have to say, I'm not looking forward to it.

My Itchy skin
Hi I have CLL since Feb. 2015 and had 6 cycles of
FCR
. I was in remission for about a year . Ever since my second treatment of chemo I had all kind of skin issues like really itchy skin easy bruising rash that looks like shingles and ant bites that leaves a scar.

Post-treatment results
My OH had 4
FCR
treatments, each one reduced from the previous one because of his reactions (low platelets, fatigue). Last treatment was early August.

Elevated Lymphocyte Count 4 Months After Bendamustine/Rituxin
As for
FCR
I am 72 years old. I am losing faith in her. She is suppose to be a specialist but she didn't even know if a shingles vaccine is a live vaccine. Has anyone out there had B/R and experienced such a brief remission?

Road to a BMT... oops just got there
Little did we know that Cancer Care Ontario would not cover the R as Mark received it during 1st line treatment when he received
FCR
and we would have to pay for it??? Well, that started a whole new challenge, that I will leave for another time.

Post FCR treatment 3 months blood test just taken results lower then expected
I completed a 6 month cycle of
FCR
and I am now 3 months post treatment. I have been feeling good but have to make sure I do not over do it. Yesterday I went for my 3 month check up and had blood work. It did not go as well as expected.
