Long Overdue Update
I’ve been hiding from this site because sometimes I feel like I’m already drowning in cancer. Yet, I find whenever I post I have received useful information, kind support, and I hope pieces of our experience may benefit others. We are nearing 2 years since my husband was diagnosed. At time of diagnosis

No Med changed- continue Ibrance’s,
faslodex
and xygeva. I think my theory was more accurate— what came up on mri did not show up on pet scan. So unless other symptoms develop I will have mri’ s done. I am tired of this issue.

Advanced Metastatic P C with a PSA of 1.2?
At the time of diagnosis, 29May19, the PSA was only 2.14. I've had Casodex and a 6 month shot of Lupron. This week the PSA is down to 1.2. Is there any significance to having an aggressive Prostate Cancer despite having a low PSA? Ten years ago my PSA was 1.5, five years ago it was 2.1. Biopsy: "FINAL

Faslodex
and Ibrance. Starting with 3 rounds in the first month 😳 If you are taking
Faslodex
, please let me know how it is for you. It’s a hard day for me ... Thank goodness for this site - it’s like a huge hug 🤗

Hi ladies I so appreciate the wonderful information and encouragement from this site I have a new question :for those of you who are using
faslodex
wondering how long it took for it to work -I have been on it for 4 months with some progression I’d read some place that it can take longer for it to start

Seeking advice about Xeloda dosing and side effect management.
After two months on
Faslodex
/Ibrance my CA 15-3 is skyrocketing and liver mets are increasing. I will probably be starting oral Xeloda very soon. I would really appreciate hearing from those of you who have used it.

Gleason score without prostate biopsy
My dad has stage four PC with bone and spinal mets. He’s on Casodex and Lupron. Seeing his urologist again next week. Does he need an oncologist too? Can we get a Gleason if the Doctor doesn’t want to do a biopsy of prostate. It has been classified as adenocarcinoma. So many questions.... what else should

Hair loss
Hi all I am on month seven of Ibrance
Faslodex
and Xgeva. Starting to lose my hair. I first noticed it was thinning and now see pieces of hair all over. Any ideas or information about this. I’m going to buy a snood today. Does it eventually come back. ? Gwennie

Ibrance changed to Faslodex
Mom was just changed from Ibrance to
faslodex
. Last scan showed a couple of very small but new spots in bones but it still hasn’t spread anywhere else. Anyone else have this happen? She’s discouraged of course but our team says this is “normal” to tweak and change meds. Thanks all!

Ibrance honeymoon over
It's been a good run, but after 18 months on Ibrance and
Faslodex
, indicators are telling my oncologist it's time for a change in meds. He put me on Xeloda, which I start in 2 weeks. Of course, I'm scared of the side effects and how this new drug will react in my body.

Next line of treatment: too many options
Hello all, I would be so grateful for some advice or thoughts on my dad's situation. He's 70 y/o, diagnosed metastatic PC in March 2018, with numerous mets to many bones. We were caught off guard--he was (and still is) physically feeling pretty well. At its highest, PSA was 56. He's being treated by

Itchy Eyes with Discharge on Ibrance/Faslodex
I’ve been on Ibrance/
Faslodex
for 11 cycles now and have recently been experiencing itchy, watery eyes with some discharge. Has anyone experienced this as a side effect while on Ibrance/
Faslodex
? Or is this an allergic reaction? If so, what medication did you take to alleviate it?
