Week 31
Hi everyone, well it went as expected this week I maintained on the scale. I admit I have indulged this week in a few home made treats. I have been baking this week some old favourites of ours, veg quiche, cheese & onion pie and had a roast gammon dinner followed by home made beef curry patties yesterday

constant over heating and excessive sweating
I have been suffering from over heating and excessive sweating for about 10 years now but this year it has worsened to the point that for most of the day I have to sit and walk around with a flannel on my head soaked in cold water. Every few minutes I have to rotate the flannel until eventually it is

Hi All! I am weighing myself today instead of Monday as I have two weddings this weekend! Going to skip next Monday's weigh in because of this then join in again the week after. So I started the 12 week plan on Monday so wasn't expecting a big loss but I have gone from 10st 4.2lbs to 10st 1.6lbs -

Asparagus Pasta with Brown Butter Sauce
Hi Guys! Using vegetables as a pasta is a great way to lower the carbohydrate count of a meal, and great for those who are gluten free! This dish is also a good option for those in chemotherapy and those going through radiation therapy. Try making it at let us know what you think! Does it make you

anorexia as a replacement to something missing in your life...
there is no hope for recovery when you realise that it protected you from painful truths, the fact you never had anyone there for you and were abused and betrayed by your own family leading to a deep mistrust of anyone and anything and that anorexia became your everything, your go to support, confidant

Eating disorder?
Lately I'm just not hungry this has been going on for about two weeks I try to eat but can't. Like today I had three bites of rice and felt full yesterday the only thing I ate was a banana. I've been really stressed and think that's the main reason but when I look up information about eating disorders

Bulimia and a psychological dependence?
Hi everyone, thought I'd give this a go before I took it to the drs for a psych referral. I've had issues with binge eating since I was a child. I've no idea why. I was not deprived of anything it was the usual scenario. Treats were allowed after dinner was eaten, I'd get a penguin in my lunchbox etc

Orange, ginger and chilli salmon with parmente potatoes and spinach - 578 Cals
The salmon is a hairy dieters recipe and it was LUSH. One of those meals you don't want to finish because it's going to end! The glaze is sweet and sticky, but it's done with orange juice and soy so there's no added extra sugar, keeping the calorie count really reasonable :) I like to try and keep

How can I help my sibling who has an eating disorder?
My sister has everything to live for, she has a good job, a fiancé who adores her and a wonderful support in her mother. She had an eating disorder in her teens but eventually after some time in hospital seemed to be on the mend. Well, that was until about a year ago. She lost a lot of weight and

scales on carpet!
Hi all - this is the end of my second week weight in! Lost another inch on my waist and an inch on my hips! I made a bit of a booby as was originally weighing myself on the carpet in my bedroom! I had a feeling after reading some bits on my ARIA scales and fitbit that it needs to be a flat surface -
