Beef Sling-It !
I was looking what I had in my veg rack and cupboards and made a beef sling-it (chuck everything you in). I softened a chopped onion in a tiny bit of olive oil, added 2 chopped carrots, 2 sticks celery chopped, 1 parsnip in chunks, half swede in chunks, 1 grated courgette, and sweated them for 5 mins

day two, let me at that veg
The boost i needed was getting on the scales this morning, and seeing a loss, that is a great incentive, now i do know there is speculation about how often you should weigh yourself, but as a seasoned "dieter" i am in the habit of jumping on every morning after my shower, and i think i would find it

hey hey :) :) I think this was quite an amazing day, not feeling and hunger. i had Lunch really late because i was just so full! :) Is it just me or do you start feeling like you've already lost like 5kg and its just the beginning ? :) I wont weight myself until Friday so the scales don't demotivate

I need to rant!
Have you EVER heard 'OMG, I need to eat cucumber and I need to eat it now!' Fresh bread, cheese, chocolate, ginger nuts, cupcakes - yes, obviously! In fact if you eat them really slowly they don't taste great in the mouth. It's just the idea of them. The diet industry is so missing a trick - 'meals

Week 4. Reality 👍🏼
Well, this week has been filled with cravings and temptations. I have a couple of birthdays today that I had to make cupcakes for last night. I deserve a medal for not even having a taste. They smelt gorgeous. I love baking so much! Exercise has been an effort this week but I've stuck to my 6 workouts

Weight loss is a strange thing
I have not been good this week. I was away on a business trip and really let myself go - the crisps that Air Berlin distributed were consumed. A couple of months ago I refused them! This time I made myself enjoy every salty, fatty crisp individually and they were yummy. And then there were heaps of biscuits

Ok so I put my height and weight into the Bmi calculator on the nhs website and it said I could have 1700 calories per day to lose weight. I downloaded an app for my phone and put the same measurements in and it said I could only have 1200 per day! How confusing is that! I'm sure at 1200 calories the

Feeling Motivated!
Hi All, Yes I'm feeling motivated and determined!😁 Well I got on the scales Monday to note my starting weight,(couple of pounds extra than expected tbh!) but hay-ho, lol, Then I got the ole tape measure out n jotted down the figures on paper! I'm sure my tape measure must have stretched? lol.

People keep telling me I am not fat and are surprised when I tell them my weight. I coach, play and umpire netball which takes up most of my evenings and I walk quite a bit at work. This week: weight change -5.5lbs waist change 0" 1748cal/day 117min/day activity A strange result, but I'm not complaining. I didn't do the gym because my knee was playing up. Just cycled to work nad did some stretches and weight at home each evening. I had lost all the weight by Saturday morning,

Strap in, it is going to be a bumpy ride...!!
I am going to make sure this is not going to be my most recent failed attempt at loosing weight. I weigh just over 20 stone but unfortunately am not the 11'7" that my bmi chart says I should be, for that weight to be acceptable.... apparently for my height I should be half the person I am....!!!!
