Sudden onset of vertigo - could it be thyroid related?
Hi all, The earliest appointment I've got a GP appointment for is7 Feb. and by visio, for my sudden onset of vertigo. I am visiting my elderly mum in UK for a week and woke up first morning with vertigo in bed as if I was very drunk and had to hold onto the mattress to get balance, eyes kept scrolling

Moving from Spain to UK will force change of brand?
I’m currently living in Spain and taking eutirox 88mg and 100mg alternate days. Im moving back to the UK and have looked at helvella useful list of types of thyroxine available in each country. My question is what would be the best brand for me to switch to - which brand is closest in its composition

Best UK brand of thyroxine? Or where can I get Euthyrox??
I am currently unable to get my usual brand of thyroxine,
Euthyrox
. In the past I have tried all the UK brands and they just haven't worked for me. Does anyone know where I can get
Euthyrox
at this time or which UK brand is going to be as close to this as poss. or is the most tolerated?

My latest blood results
I have been taking
Euthyrox
0.05mg for about a year now, prior to that I was taking
Euthyrox
0.1mg and 0.05mg alternatively. I have been having a problem with my menstrual cycle for the past 6 months, whereby I just get slight spotting. I haven’t been getting a proper period.

Low vitamin D
I’ve had blood test which indicates 21.6 level of vit D which is low. Explains a lot of my symptoms. Gp not in today and the others are only fielding vital calls. Should I take a supplement meantime? I’m on 50 level thyrox. Home alone and anxious....

Trying to raise levo - advice needed :)
My blood results: Armour 90mg (1.5grain) that I used before switching to synthetic because of price and shortage of NDT where I live: TSH 0.09 ( 0.5-4.6) Ft3 5 (3.5-6.5) Ft4 12 (11-23) Armour 45+ 45
Euthyrox
used for 2 months, felt overmedicated as hell.

Real world clinical experience with a new formulation of levothyroxine engineered to meet new and stricter regulatory requirements
There is now a paper discussing the
Euthyrox
issues. I'll not make any further comment before you read the article - please comment as you wish. Bizarrely, if I have understood correctly, you can get the paper read out to you!

Thyroid results on combo T4/T3 (please, help)
Started my medication journey with levothyroxine (
Euthyrox
, Letrox), but every new dose would be helpful for just a couple of months, and then a dose increase would go. Last year I started with Prothyrid (Sanofi), a combo T4:T3=100:10 (mcg). I've been taking 1 + 1/4 tbl every day.
