NDT Supplier - from America
dear everyone just wondered if we are allowed- if anyone could pm me a supplier for NDT. I am currently with an Endo who will prescribe T3 but is really not keen to give me NDT. I did have it many years ago from a UK private doctor but since he passed away I have not been able to get it. my apologies

Levothyroxine side effects - sleep
Hello, very new here. I’ve recently started Levothyroxine after trying to conceive with no luck. My TSH is “subclinical” at 6. The doctor has put me on 75micrograms and I have been on them for a week. Is it quite normal to feel jittery off them or am I on too strong of a dose? My symptoms include:

Normal TSH but symptoms of Hypothyroidism
Hi, looking for advice. I've been on Levothyroxine 50mg dose for 3 years. My last TSH was 2.75 so within normal range but my hair is thinning, I'm always cold, sometimes constipated and low pulse rate, sometimes as low as 50 and I'm no athlete. MyGP only tests TSH should I ask for more tests?

However I am getting aching joints a lot on and off and a lot of fatigue. Looking back a lot of these symptoms started just over one

Over-treatment
Hi,I've been treated for hypothyroidism for about 8 years and for most of that time, taken 150mg of levothyroxine. Recently, as the fatigue had become difficult after having covid, I found my B12 levels were low, so I started treatment for that. My fatigue improved about 2 weeks later. I looked at my

please could I have feedback on my results?
I’ve been on NDT under a private consultant now since March and these are my latest results. I feel like my symptoms are mostly managed with the exception of sleep. Do you think I need a 1/4 grain increase or should I just leave be? My waking temperatures are still low although my general coldness has

TSH low the rest normal
Can anyone explain why my TSH is low yet the rest is normal? I know my new doctor will be onto this in a flash when they do a test shortly and probably reduce my levothyroxine (I`ve had this battle for years) The following is a private test T4 = 121 range 59-154 TSH

Thyroid, Cortisol And Sodium Question
Hi All, Got my latest results and it's a bit messy. I got off NDT 1,5 grains and switched to 88 mcg of levo, my old levo I was on before. Prior to that, I was on 75/88 mcg, alternating. So I increased and now re-checked my bloods after 8 weeks. Btw, I'm well versed in everything recommended here

Levothyroxine interfering with periods?
Hi, I have been on 50 levothyroxine for around a year as my blood readings showed subclinical hypothyroid around 5 TSH. This reduced the TSH to 1.9 without side effects but my latest reading was 4.44 and I was tired again so they upped to 75 8 weeks ago. My periods have never been irregular and I have

so many supplements, so much money - any advice for lowering the cost?
hi everyone, I’ve just added up how much I’m spending on ndt and supplements and it’s an awful lot of money. I wondered if anyone had advice on cheaper options or those they think are unnecessary. I’ve got hashimotos and have also been diagnosed with ME/ CFS - these are a mixture of things recommended

Latest results.
Hi all. I wonder if you could share your thoughts on my latest results. My levothyroxine has been increased from 50 to 75mg. I have had a very sore mouth and tongue for over 12 months and was hoping if my B12 levels increased and my levothyroxine was working well, it would go. It hasn’t. My B12

I feel bad
I haven't been able to help a friend of mine. Whom I met on this forum. I sound like a witch but I'm not I'm just telling it like it is if you are not out of range for T4 and TSH they will not treat you for T3. Am I correct or not I just didn't want her waiting around thinking she's going to get what

NDT advice please
Hello everyone I’m on T4/T3 combined meds for UAT. I read on here about people being on NDT, I’ve never tried it or been offered it. How do you go about trying to get a trial? It’s obviously an Endo route but are they even receptive to this as an option if you ask? I’m very curious to find out if this
