I AM NOT SERONEGATIVE!
But she has also put me on
Eliquis
and Plavix. I had been short of breath, so I was given various scans and tests for that, but no blood clots were found. She mentioned the possibility of microclots affecting my lungs. My breathing has indeed improved since being on the anticoagulants.

Non-Drinker had an episode of atrial fibrillation and ended up needing a Cardioversion
Since this episode I have to take
Eliquis
and Digoxen for at least 30 days. Ever since, I have been feeling terrible. Extreme fatigue and feeling of heaviness in my thighs when I walk. I am wondering if the Digoxen could be making me feel this way?

Blood clot prevention tablets
The doctor is considering an alternative to Rivaroxaban which I think is Apixaban (
Eliquis
) which is taken twice a day with a lower risk of bleeding. Needless to say it appears to have its own long list of side effects. Has anyone been on it it and were the side effects tolerable?

Anticoagulants and hormone replacement therapy
I know estrogen increase chances of blood clot but was hoping the
eliquis
trumped it.

Whew! Done and dusted.
Also
Eliquis
for a month or so. Now just healing up in groin (one side again), neck, and good to go...easily for awhile. What an age of miracles we live in! Of course, our children in their seventies (or will it be 170's?)

ATRIAL FIBRILATION
The doctor has also switched me from Warfarin to
Eliquis
, an anticoagulant that does not have to be monitored.

Eliquis or Xarelto
There is an antidote to these drugs being approved here in the states in 2016. I opted to not take wither of these because of no antidote being available. My INR on warfarin for the most cycles between being low and being therapeutic. I'm wondering if anyone on the forum takes these and is happy with

Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation on Eliquis
I began taking the drug
Eliquis
on 12/29/2015 to help prevent a stroke and side effects are minimal. I saw my primary care doctor this week and she recommended that I take a good whole food multivitamin, along with a Garlic and Magnesium supplement.

I, would like to read from people that are taking
Eliquis
about indications , age ,side effects. When I was on baby aspirin my hematocrit became low and reversed when I stopped the aspirin.

What to ask my EP
I am on amioadrone, Metropol and
Eliquis
. I see my EP this Wednesday for a 6 week check up. What are some questions I should ask him. I like to be informed and ready with answers if given options. As you can tell, I am a planner😀 Thanks for any input.

I have been on Eliquis for five months.
I am 71 and have been taking
Eliquis
since June of this year (five months). The only side effect I have is the $150 a month I have to pay when I am in the coverage gap.

Amioadrone and weight gain
My dr put me on amioadrone and
eliquis
. I have hyperthyroidism and take synthroid but I am now gaining weight. The dr said I would only be on amioadrone for 6 weeks and don't read about the side effects so, of course, the first thing I did was read them. One of the side effects was weight gain.

Bone Pain?
The only other new Med I'm on is
Eliquis
to make my blood less "sticky". (Warfarin wasn't working). I have no other new bodily ailments. Nausea I've had for the past year, prior to getting on Hydroxy. My spleen is enlarged but hasn't increased in size. Any ideas?
