Mini Oven Recommendations
I love to cook. It has always been my favourite hobby and relaxation. However, I struggle with chopping and slicing these days ..... Food processor has helped no end on this front. But my biggest problem is getting things out of the wall oven and while HM is fantastic at lifting heavy things for me

Ectopic Beats and Afib recurrence
Hi All, I am now more than 6 months out of the ablation and the 3 months follow up was okay. I am on bisoprolol. Lately, I started feeling many ectopics and as of last 3-4 days they seem to be with me all the time. Two weeks ago, I went to an ER following a sleepless night of anxiety (ECG no Afib and

Travel Insurance
Hi I had an ICD fitted in November.. you might see quite a few questions from me. May I thank people in advance that have taken time out to answer. We have an annual travel insurance policy that isn’t due to expire before our next holiday. Obviously I will need to notify them I’ve had the device

You tube video on Atrial fibrillation , very long but answers so many questions.
I really didn't want to watch football & thought I would look something up on YouTube. This video answers so many questions from what causes AFib to Alcohol & caffeine and is only 7 days old.I found it incredible and if you can sit through 1hr 29 it will answer so many questions.I only found about 20

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month ❤️
Did you know that Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) claims more than 100,00 lives each year in the UK? 80% of these lives could be saved if only a defibrillator was used together with CPR. Do you know where your nearest defibrillator is? To find out visit: https://www.defibssavelives.org/ ☎️If you are someone

Symptom changes
I would be interested to see if any one has experienced symptom changes from when they first had/diagnosed with RLS . Initially, my RLS was the classic, constantly having to move my legs during the night while sleeping or resting. Even sitting in a chair, for long periods of time ( aeroplane, cinema)

Not great news today
The end of October I had a cardioversion that failed in less than a month. I met with my cardiologist two weeks ago and he confirmed what I thought that it failed. Actually I have atypical flutter it’s not my a fib as such. He wanted me to meet with the EP he works with so today was the day to do that

Afib breathlessness
Firstly, sorry, I don`t know how to add to an old post so started this. To try and keep it short I had a cardioversion for Afib which worked for a few weeks. I was later put on bisoprolol which I really struggled to walk any distance and upstairs (Asthmatic). Many kind people on here gave me good

Just popping in to say Hi!
I've had what might be described as an eventful week and a bit and felt the need to find out about other people's experiences. Quick history, very small MI 14 years ago, diagnosed with aortic regurgitation, been monitored since then until 5 months ago when told that efficiency dropped and mitral valve

Premature atrial contractions (PAC) and Premature ventricular contractions (PVC). Same triggers as Afib?
Just curious what causes PAC's and PVC's to vary so widely. Last night over an 8 hour period I had 2,608 PAC's and 1,237 PVC's, which was much higher then usual. My Afib burden is very low, each time only lasting 20 seconds and not as bothersome. The night before for the same period I only had 276

Should I give up taking Amiodarone
I had a cardioversion last May and was delighted that it worked first time. I took 100mg Amiodarone daily until November when I slipped into AFib again. I did a 3 per day 200mg amiodarone for one week, 2 per day and then 1 per day and this hasn't sorted it. My resting pulse is 75-80 (whereas normally

Eliquis and CBD gummy’s
I am taking 5 mg of Eliquis two times a day. I started taking 20 mg of CBD Gummies which has helped my mood and pain immensely. I did some research and read that you should not take CBD with Eliquis as it can be very dangerous causing an overdose of Eliquis. Has anyone here tried taking CBD with Eliquis

Pluvicto increases radiographic progression-free survival (rPFS) before chemo
This is the early topline results from the
