AFib during Pilates
I have occasional AFib and a pacemaker. At the start of my weekly Pilates class (which I do for a sore back) I had a fast heart rate (112bpm) but went ahead with it (having informed the instructor). I took it easy but after 30 mins my fit bit said I had AFib so I just lay there until the end of the

Knowledge Isn't Enough
Hi Everyone! I've been reading and responding for several months, but this is my first OP. ADHD was diagnosed at 54, I'm almost 67 now. At the time, I was still working, and Vyvanse was a small miracle! After several years, I got breast cancer and stopped meds while I went through chemo and radiation

Mrs Ben
Hi, I am having an ICD fitted for heart failure. Could anyone please advise on how it works and how they feel about having the device. Does it affect your driving. Thank you.

Support after Diagnosis and advice
I've had my diagnosis now of chronic pain and fibromyalgia last week over a very lengthy appointment, still in loads of pain and even morning stiffness and aches, no mention of using a walking aid if I really need it. we discussed pain relief which after the nurse decided to stay on paracetamol until

ICD implant
Good morning. I have CPVT but just recently I have had a ICD implant because I was getting 7 second intermitting pauses in my heart rhythm. Does anyone else fell the little pulses? They don't hurt at all but make me aware of my heart rhythm. Do they eventually settle down. Thank you

Heart Ablation vs Just Continuing Medications
Hi! I am struggling with making a decision to follow thru with my scheduled Heart Ablation procedure, or just continue my current medications that I have been on for almost 3 years. I am currently taking Diltiazem, Eliquis, and Flecainide, and have not had an espisode since I started the Flecainide

Early signs of PA
I've been giving some thought to how long I've had PA. I was diagnosed about 2 years ago. BUT, when i look back at old photos of myself, my skin colour changed to be quite yellowy (my mum says my dad and his mum both had the yellowy skin tone). This yellowy colour has faded out and I'm much more "white

Is it the Medication or am I Losing it?
Do you do daft things? This morning I picked up my toothbrush and instead of putting toothpaste on it picked up a tube of face wash cream and spread that on my toothbrush, as soon as the brush went in my mouth I knew what I'd done. Last week I took a carton of orange juice out of the fridge and poured

Digoxin, upset stomach
My husband has been on digoxin for three weeks and has had to come off them for 7 days to see if that’s what has been causing lots of unwanted trips to the toilet for last two weeks . They have upped his bisoprolol from 7.25 to 10mg a day to see if they can eliminate the cause for 7days . I’m worried

Vivid dreams and disturbed sleep
I dread going to bed! I used to be such a good sleeper but since taking Sotalol I have suffered.Does anyone in this group who take Sotalol get the same problems? Often the dreams are so vivid and weird they wake me with my heart pounding and then I have to decide if it's triggered my afib. I must say

Visual disturbances after ablation
1 week post op and everyday I have had vision issues... blurriness, auras, tunnel vision. It happened while I was in the hospital still and they ruled out stroke, but the issue has persisted. Wondering if anyone else has experienced vision issues after an ablation and can provide some insight Thanks!
