What is Left Atrial Rhythm and is it related to Afib?
I have paroxysmal Afib, which appears to be well managed with Flecainide and Metoprolol. I am having an unrelated medical procedure next week so my anaesthetist sent me for an ECG, which I had to drop back to her office. After getting the ECG done by a nurse at my local GP's rooms, the nurse took the

Ablation Done
After much worrying on my part, I had my ablation done at Barts on Friday and I'm not dead yet! Despite the long list of side effects which might have occurred according to the AF Ablation help sheet, all I had was a mild(ish) migraine on the Friday night. No problems with bleeding from the site or indeed

LBBB.
Just been disagnosed with LBBB that my GP missed 1 year ago and allowed me to go on antibiotics for past nasal drip which had to have a normal heart: hence the ECG . 1 year later I applied for whole of life insurance and their doctor found it in my records and queried why my doctor had not done cardiac

Advice Pls…
I had a sudden heart attack in December 2022 aged 43. Everything came as a surprise as I’m not over weight and I am generally healthy. I was fitted with 2 stents. I completed my 8 weeks of rehab and was discharged from the hospital appointments at 3 months. After my heart attack I kept getting a pushing

calf pain
I’ve phoned the dr multiple times about this and they get me to check for lumps, heat, swelling
ect
which I never ever have, just the horrible cramp, it’s on and off, not constant. I can’t enjoy myself because I’m constantly worried about this pain.

The 'Brain Energy Gap' and its possible implication on the progress of PD.
Has anyone else seen the work of Professor Stephen Cunnane on the 'brain energy gap' and its implications for PD, Alzheimers and cognitive impairment? I've put a link to one of his talks below, but to summarise: - Cognitive impairment and brain health in PD, Alzheimers, is due in part to an 'brain

bradycardia interrupting sleep
I’m waking up during the night with low heart rate 42-48 bpm and a feeling that my heart is labouring. This is usually twice in the night and I often can’t get back to sleep after 4.00am. I think sleeping on my back doesn’t help ( I try not to) and my other half tells me I snore. Tried all the sleep
