Echo results
Question today is I have finally got
Echocardiogram
results. Seems to be ok as Consultant states there is no significant change in my LV function. Can someone advise in simple terms 1. "performed whilst in sinus rhythm at a rate of 80/min. 2. Showed non dilated LV with global LV impairment. 3.

Mixed feelings about hospital too busy to review 12 months after ablation.
I just have a few questions. 1.I need to know what I can expect from now on. 2.As it over 2.5 years from initial
echocardiogram
what are the chances I will develop heart failure? I suppose I should speak to the direct number on the letter and ask for telephone consultation or email.

Had
echocardiogram
, 24 hour holter, all came back ok. Don't particularly have a high heart rate usually 55-60 bpm. Tried betablocker but at very low dose as anything too strong just knocks me out. Drs don't seem to want to know. Anyone else experience this, would be grateful for any advice.

EKG RESULTS
The most reasoned diagnosis: septal infarct, age undetermined,” The one back in August shows ABNORMAL ECG - Sinus rhythm Abnormal R-wave progression, early transition LVH by voltage Anterior Q waves, possibly due to LVH Back in 2021 they did an
echocardiogram
and ruled out LVH.

Echocardiogram
Curiosity has got the better of me. A dangerous thing. I see that, in the USA, those who have had AVR seem to undergo an echo annually. Can anyone shed light on what we do here? And, coincidentally, I'm off for an echo in the morning but that was booked as part of my post op care by my local hospital

usual time to get results after EP appointment
I had an
echocardiogram
while I was there and was told, if my heart was ok, I would be given tablets to help with heart rhythm as I am in persistent AF. That was a week ago and I haven’t heard anything since.

Rheumy exam/USA major university medical system - disappointed
Rheumy ordered bloodwork & an
echocardiogram
. Oh, and she recorded the visit on her iPhone. This is at a major US university (Ivy League) medical system. What happened to the DAS exam & checking a patient's heart, etc? I left feeling, why did I even bother to go...?

Ventricular standstill and laxatives
I am having an
echocardiogram
and listed for a urgent pacemaker. Has anyone experienced heart pauses when on laxatives please. I am taking 5 docusate and 3 Laxido daily and see there is a connection between Laxatives and electrolyte imbalance and heart rates.

Left ventricle impairment
My
echocardiogram
is showing left ventricle impairment. They want to do a second
echocardiogram
to check for accuracy as my heart rate was high (156 bpm) during the first one and this could have distorted results.

Grade 2 LV Diastolic Dysfunction
Hi everyone, this has just been picked up on a recent
Echocardiogram
. I’ve tried Googling it but results all refer to Heart Failure. Is this a precursor to HF?

Is a stress Echo as good as a coronary angiography?
My cardiologist advised me that she didn’t want to waste anymore of my time, so she set me up for a stress
echocardiogram
. It’s a true shame, I know how good a CTTA can be at diagnosing heart and arterio abnormalities; but alas such a test doesn’t seem to be in my immediate future.

Does myocarditis have poor prognosis
Ecg, holter monitor and
echocardiogram
all normal, with the exception of very small pericardial effusion. I was diagnosed with acute myopericarditis and was discharged with x2 colchicine for 2 week s, to continue with x1 for a month. The cardiologist didn’t recommend any follow up.

A return of the dreaded mongrel .......... ????? Part 2
Doubtless any appointment will be a while so it gives me a chance to get a
Echocardiogram
done, and even as I type this I can feel 'stuff' damn well goin' on. Thank you everyone for your input - much appreciated. John

You couldn’t make it up!
Surgery is planned but this has required visits to an oncologist, High Risk anaesthetist ,
echocardiogram
and Maxillofacial surgeon. As I find the whole thing pretty scary due to the risks and my general decrepitude I may actually refuse surgery.

Persistent AF
I have got to have an
echocardiogram
done and a machine fitted to check heart rate, they want to stop my flecanide and add another tablet. He said flecanide slows your heart rate down and I need something to regulate it. Can anyone explain feeling very bemused by it all.
