Dorzolamide

I am on iopidine dorzolamide and monopost. Eye pressures 19 22 I want to stop iopidine has anyone else just interested if pressures will stay same. Consultant said I could stop using in left eye but not sure.

My consultant prescribed me Trusopt, Monopst, tiopex GP practise advised me they were changing trusopt single dose unit to Dorzolamide multi dose bottle ( due to cost ) The pharmacy was unable to get hold of dorzolamide, so had to contact GP who prescribed trusopt Today I phoned pharmacy if my prescription

My pressures went up and since then had iridotomy and on monopost dorzolamide and iopidine. Never told me would need eye drops ongoing. Found out from opticians my angles grade 1 So hospital I was referred to should know same

Hello everyone I was started on Dorzolamide eye drops around 6 weeks ago. I have noticed my eyelashes seem almost stunted, and not as long as they were. Has anyone else experienced this whilst being on these drops I am worried I am going to lose all my eyelashes. 😞

I have two eye medications of Bimatoprost prescribed (in addition to Dorzolamide/Timolol). Left eye is Bimatoprost 300 mg/0.4ml preservative free and right eye is Bitamatoprost 100 mg/ml. What is the difference and why are they different?

Unfortunately my IOP (eye pressure) have started to increase so my Consultant has change my eye drops from Latanoprost (Monopost ) 1 drop daily to Dorzolamide/Timolol Cosopt 2 drops daily.

hi I’ve had various drops over my 7 years of being diagnosed with glaucoma my consultant has just added diozolomide drops into my Monopost Timilol mix what’s your experience of these drops as I’ve not been able to get a single drop out the bottle either nothing or too much also what side effects if any

Now the only drops I take are Dorzolamide timolol in the left eye, twice a day.I switched to the preservative free drops a few months ago but I think it's negatively affecting my lashes? Right eye with no drops, the lashes are normal but the left eye, the lashes seem to be getting shorter!

hi there, I use Latanoprost and Dorzolamide eye drops following a closed angle glaucoma last year. Recently the area around my eye has become very red and inflamed and itchy. Has this happened to anyone else? My doctor gave me steroid cream which has helped a bit. Thanks

The dorzolamide drops really sting my eyes, is this normal or should I contact the consultant for help? many thanks

My eye pressure returned to normal levels in June and i was told that if there was no deterioration at the next check, I could come off the two eyedrops (Dorzolamide, Latanoprost). However, at my check in Jan this year, though the eye pressure was normal there was deterioration in the glaucoma.

I’m taking Eyedelto (preservative-free Dorzolamide) drops twice a day. The bottle says that when it’s time to discard the bottle 28 days after opening, there’ll still be some left in it. I’m fact, I find I get through a whole bottle in about 2 weeks. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi, does anybody have a problem with Dorzolamide drops. I have had a pain over my left eye, blocked nose and mucus in throat since I have been on these since January. I have tried everything, my GP is treating me for sinus problems although I have never suffered them before the drops.

twice a day, brimomidine also twice a day and lumigan once a day all in both eyes. my consultant tried me on dorzolamide/timilol after the third implant and i found the timilol element made me breathless, so that was stopped.

I have Hydrus shunt and dorzolamide drops. Bimatoprost was discontinued beginning of December.

But because of this further loss of vision Consultant wants to bring pressures down so had put me back on dorzolamide. Which I feel relieved about.

However the letter said I’d be seen in 6 months time and that I should take Dorzolamide drops, which I’ve never been prescribed and which were not discussed at the appointment. Should I phone the hospital or just ignore the letter as being incorrect?
