PSA still undectable
it’s been 4 months now since I didn’t have my ADT injection ( so 7 months since the last one). Continuing on Apalutamide as a monotherapy atm. Pleased to have experienced Christmas and a 3 week hol in Barbados with no bad news as Decembers have bed. Dodgy in the past. Back at work now - enjoyed

Radiation PSA, Orgovyx, Bone density Update
Rouge clone radiation on 10/31/23 has PSA from 4.83 on 11/20/23 to 0.85 on 12/18. HOWEVER, PSA up to 1.85 on 1/29/24. Disappointing to say the least I see MO next week and presume we start the Plarify scan to identify source and possibly more radiation to kill it. Switch from Eligard to Orgovyx since

Update on dads visit with his MO today
Took dad to his MO today, the appointment I was dreading, I was thinking they would say, were done since he has suspected LMD . This was not the case at all. His labs were all better than they have ever been, psa was 2 and kidney functions, testosterone everything was better than they have ever been

Post treatment post ADT time to PSMA test
Where I am receiving treatment, ADT, LD Brachytherapy, LINAC radiotherapy (15) sessions.. PSMA pet scans are not available (Japan). I planning on ending adjuvant ADT therapy within a few months and am aware of the lasting effects on testosterone (will take 6-12 months for decent testosterone levels .

Add Nubeqa to Orgovyx?
Age 81. I had prostate radiation in 2021, and pelvic node radiation in 2023. PSA was 3.78 in Dec 2023. PSMA PET then showed cancer growing in prostate, shrinking in pelvic node, but spread to an abdominal node. I have started ADT with Orgovyx (relugolix) and want to add an ARI. The urologist wants

Any experience with Intraductal Cancer?
Not sure how this works. Hopefully you can read my profile to see where I'm at. If not, I repeat it here. My GP recommended biopsy after several annual PSA results around 4.0 Was on active surveillance since diagnosis in 2019 with biopsy Gleason 6 in two cores. Similar result in annual biopsies

Unsure of best option in early prostate cancer diagnosis.
I have had PSA tests annually for 10 years and in Oct 2023 had an elevated 6.42 result. Was referred to a urologist, whom performed a DRE. There was prostate enlargement but no tumor discovered through DRE. After discussing several options, I decided to have a biopsy on Nov 21, 2023. Dec 5, 2023,

Provenge (only) - impact on overall survival
I just got insurance approval for Provenge...out of pocket is really high so now I'm doing a cost benefit analysis in my mind. I've seen many different articles showing that Provenge ALONE only extends overall survival by 4-15 months. Does that sound correct? Tall_Allen mentioned adding xofigio for

To Chemo or Not to Chemo--that is the ?
Should I follow my MO's advice and do docetaxel? Since I'm now 78, and have read terrible accounts of chemo, I have held onto the belief that I would do everything to avoid chemo since the treatment appears to be worse than the alternative. But she's really not giving me an alternative, other than
