Pains around heart
It is possibly oesophageal inflammation. Are you taking your Rivaroxaban completely as instructed? . If as you say you have had an angiogram to check for any arterial blockages and been cleared it is unlikely to be angina.
Ask your GP for a GTN spray. If that relieves the pain quickly then it's blood flow related, but if it takes half an hour its muscular. If the latter ask to be checked for Tietze syndrome as doctors tend to miss this and it's easily fixed with a simple injection.
I have just been in hospital for chest pain I.e along my breastbone and high blood pressure. The doctors think it was skeletal pain rather than heart. I am not sure but the pain was similar to the pain I had after my ablation in June 2017. However I am going to have an echogram in June to check this. Now the blood pressure has been reduced the pain has nearly gone
Ablation surgery, 6 spots, Jan 31 and still get heart pains. I am on no meds. I still get a few episodes but they are getting farther and father apart. I fill no pressure just my heart just hurts at time almost like a very pulled muscle. Dr. says the heart still has inflammation from surgery. But. please go consult your nurse or Dr. to be on the safe side and put your mind at ease.
