Cytomel Side Effects
I have been feeling dizzy and have had vision issues. I also have headahes periodically. Could this be attributed to a cytomel increase three weeks ago?

Advice on bad reaction to levothyroxine brand change.
I haven’t posted in quite a while. I have been doing well on 75mcg levo (Mylan) and 20mcg of cytomel. Pharmacy changed manufacturer of levo to (Lupin). I have taken new one for two weeks and my heart rate it running above 120 and I’m short of breath. They are ordering a different generic, but can’t

Thyroid test...desperate for advice
Hi again I just got my new thyroid lab information and Cholesterol retested after 8 weeks on 88mcg synthyroid and 10mcg Cytomel and I'm thinking things went from bad to worse and I'm worried that this crap thyroid stuff is going to destroy what remains normal. Anyway my cholesterol 8 weeks ago was hideous

T3 generics by post?
Pfizer (incidentally, maker of drugs for lethal injection in USA) has skyrocketed the price of Cytomel. Mine would cost $1500/year. What I want is an alternative at a reasonable cost. For example, has anyone sourced Cynomel, Cytobin, or Tertroxin or generics? Would like to mail order from any country

Help with stopping T3 and new results
Hi everyone, further to my (rather long-winded!) post yesterday (below), I've just got my latest results, which I've attached. I'm no expert but I'm guessing my FT3 range does suggest I am currently over-medicating? Thanks in advance! Hello lovely people, I went to see an NHS endo yesterday and he's

Should I stop T3?
Hello lovely people, I went to see an NHS endo yesterday and he's just called with the results and echoed what I was told by a gyne a few weeks ago - that I may be overmedicating and he's told me to stop taking T3. I'm currently on 125mg Levothoryxine and 12.5mg of Cytomel. I don't have the readings

Have I gone overactive?!
Can anyone please help with my latest results? I'm confused! I saw a gyne doctor the other day regarding pelvic pain and she said that it could be down to my thyroid being overactive. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid in my early 20s, and Hashimoto's six years ago, but she thinks I've tipped

Experience going OFF thyroid meds?
Hi all. This is my first time asking a question here. I'm wondering if it's possible or if anyone has experience going off thyroid medication completely after having been on total replacement dose for many years. Over five years ago, I was tired, cold, thinning hair, slight weight gain. My labs showed

Letter to my doctor re: using TSH to guide dosage
Thank you for working with me to optimize my treatment for hypothyroidism. My health improved so much since adding Cytomel that I began working with my Psychiatrist to titrate down, and hopefully off, my antidepressant. I have switched to 200 mg per day, taken in the morning and afternoon, instead

T3 issues
Hi everyone I’m currently taking T4 only. I switch between 112 mcg and 125 mcg depending on my symptoms. I feel ok but I lack energy or interest in doing anything. I’m like a shadow of myself if that makes any sense. In the spring I took Cytomel T3 for several weeks and felt much better but it caused

Very suppressed TSH
Good morning all! I got my lab results back yesterday and I need your input on the readings so I have something to defend myself with when I visit my Dr on Monday. I am currently on 88 mcg Levoxyl and 5 mcg Cytomel(generic). My Dr will NOT be happy with the TSH results. TSH .05 (0.27-4.68) FT4 1.26
