Chest cold
Hey All, Me again looking for advice about my Mum who has COPD. Any recommendations on how to tackle a chest cold please? She is on blood pressure meds, so all of the Lemsip products we have are unsuitable! So scared about this developing into anything worse - don’t seem to be able to get her fully

How did I catch a cold in lockdown?
More than half of Australia is in lockdown in an effort to stem the current Delta strain COVID outbreak, with vast numbers of us steering clear of workplaces, school, retail shops, public transport and other busy places. If, despite all that, you or your children have developed a sniffle, tested negative

Not sure if I have thrush
I think I may have thrush but not 100% sure. I have a white-ish discharge but no itchiness, soreness or stinging. I've taken oral medication for it just in case but noticed no difference, unsure what to do

Anyone else been called for a Pneumonia Vaccine?
I'm having mine this afternoon - I was stunned when I got the call from my GP's Surgery yesterday, as I don't fall into the 'normal' pneumonia vaccine criteria, even more stunned when they said my appointment was today. I'm 59, have never had any issues with my lungs, and don't smoke. I've never had

Result Covid 19 positive.
Dear all, I received my result this morning from yesterday’s PCR Covid test which has come back positive. I had pneumonia last February 2020 and was very unwell until April 2020. Tests for Covid 19 we’re not being done at this early stage as it was a new virus that we were all just hearing about.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa to lungs, will I need time off work to recover?
Hi Folks, I’ve been coughing hard for two months and had multiple antibiotics, steroids antihistamines, even asthma inhalers. No improvement. Last week I had bloods, Xray for pneumonia and sputum test. The sputum test was a very firm white decent chunk of something. (Sorry). Doctor rang me late yesterday

We should treat COVID like norovirus – not the flu
Because COVID symptoms – fever, cough, aches – are similar to flu symptoms, it is tempting to compare the two. Asthma and Storms
Does anyone else's asthma get worse when there's a storm? I know obviously being out in bad weather/the cold can affect it but every time a storm comes over even when I'm inside I get tight chested and my cough gets worse. I take my reliever but it doesn't help. Any advice or even just reassurance I'm
