Previously ( March 2019 ) sufferred a traumatic hit & run attempt with serious head and spinal injuries - Police were unable to trace culprit and passed case over to the MIB - currently still undergoing hospitals treatments - approximately 50 visits to date.
Now, have developed a condition that I am having severe & extreme pains in lower back RH Ribcage when trying to cough to clear lungs. This has persisted over a week after catching a sore throat together head and chest cold, wheezing and un- controlable coughing.
Cannot pinpoint whether I have Accute Bronchitis , viral or bacterial Pneumonia , Pleurisy or rib-cage damage due to violent coughing.
Advice very limited from 111 and 119 - GP's only advising by phone appointments.
Help & advice required.

First thought is have you had Covid test to rule that out?Secondly sorry to hear rubbish advice from 111. Am surprised they not sent paramedics to checks oxygen levels. Also do you need a chest X-ray?
If no worse today then tomorrow you need gp appointment. Even telephone appointment can discuss problem in detail and give prescription if required. Plus most gp surgeries ARE seeing patients after telephone appointment if gp deems necessary. Again gp will want to know Covid test been carried out.
I had a GOV Covid Test on morning of Saturday 10th and got result back today as confirmed as Negative - it also mentions about the negative covid test being followed by a lateral flow test ??? what is that.
Have arranged a GP tele-appt. for tomorrow 12 July.
It is wheezing of the chest that causes the uncontrolable coughing and hence sharp pains in a particular lower RH Ribcage area ( Maybe the floating Ribs 11 & 12 of the Thoracic Cage)
I think lateral flow test is a test you can do yourself at home and get results straight away. Couple of People who have visited me have done this to reassure me.Guess idea is just to double check that definitely Covid free.
Am sure your gp will explain accordingly and whether they agree with suggestion.
Hi roddy, welcome to the forum. My first thought was for you to have a covid test as Bevvy mentioned. Also do contact your GP and speak to him. Hopefully he’ll be able to help.
Hiya ☺️ I agree with the comments of Bevvy and Sassy, you should get in touch with your GP as soon as possible. To sort this out. Very sorry that you are in pain it's uncomfortable but hopefully your doctor will help you. Best wishes and get well again soon. 🍀🍀🍀🍀
