Skin bumps from Tocilizumab?
Every time I have it, I stop using my skin care products and use a
cortisone
salve from the doctor and after a week or so my skin looks more or less ok again.

Effects of Cortisone on PD.
Due to acute Lumbosciatica, I am taking
Cortisone
(Medrol 16 mg) in decreasing doses for several weeks. I note however, that my symptoms (tremors, precarious balance, soft legs, etc.) are significantly increased in intensity. Has anyone ever checked it out?

Salivary cortisol tests with high levels?
Has anyone used the 24hour salivary cortisol tests after having a high blood cortisol (620 on a 7am finger prick test, where high was above 557) They seem to be used more with adrenal insufficiency, so just wondering if it would be helpful?

Adrenals weak?
I'm currently titrating T3-only (first 3 weeks, currently at 30-40µg) and i'm not sure if i should do something about my adrenals. Some details (all tests before any thyroid medication): - Morning cortisol blood tests are high (near upper range) - Saliva tests shows high morning cortisol, but low midnight

Cause of fluctuating Cortisol Results ?
Morning, Will try and condense the last 5 years of cortisol results, as thoroughly confused, cortisol Vs thyroid. Cortisol was tested under endo who I had been referred to in 2015 with regards my thyroid. In Aug 2015 my results show a level of 992 ( V high) with an ACDH of 8.79, not sure if the latter

PMR gone or has it?
My physio thinks it’s rotator cuff tendinitis and set me physio which I have continued .I also had a
cortisone
injection in the shoulder by the specialist but the pain in the shoulder and upper bicep persist. I can’t sleep on my left side due to the pain.

Low cortisol level?
Hi all! I am currently on alternating 7/6mg prednisolone and rheumatologist wants me to reduce as much as possible, preferably coming down 1mg every 2 weeks. I have come down too fast/too low in the past and then had horrendous flares. I asked him for a blood test to check my cortisol levels as I was

Is it more likely this is just a case of adrenal fatigue or possible early addisons.
I’ve recently had a cortisol dhea saliva test which I performed throughout the day. The results have come back with normal dhea but with low cortisol readings at every reading but the first morning one which is just in range (I’ll post results). My understanding was that adrenal fatigue caused high cortisol

Aftermath of horrible pimply rash on skull with Ibrutinib
I could finally talk with my haematologist on January 4 after he had returned from his break and he suggested I should take an antihistamine as well as apply topical
cortisone
cream. I have been taking Polaramine 2 mg three times a day since then and it has worked.
