Problems with seizures
Was prescribed 18mg
concerta
xl. Worked great at first but wore off after 5/6 hours. Started taking another 18mg at 1.30. Worked until 6.30 ish. On both levels I developed seizures and still have them every night around the same time.

Newbie on here.....
Then the insurance didn't cover that and forced us to change to brand name
Concerta
. The
concerta
didn't work at all. It was as if he was taking sugar pills. We finally got changed over to vyvanse and that seemed to work for about a year.

Question on Absorption, Dose Increase, and Zoloft interaction. Doctor taking too much time!
TSH 0.26 (0.32-5.04) FT4 14.0 (10.6-19.7) FT3 4.05 (3.00-5.90) As I had been trialing different ADHD medications, two weeks ago I settled back to Adderall (was on
Concerta
and before that Vyvanse) and am titrating that.

Caffeine pills
A neuro shrink put him on
Concerta
to wake him up which made him agitated and aggressive, further threatening our ability to function as a family unit. Recently a neuro put him on caffeine pills. He has been amazing for three days now.

My son who is 15 has been taking
concerta
27 mg for a month. His grades have improved and at home he listens really well now. There are no behavioral issues at home and he is actually doing homework. But...at school it is a nightmare. His teachers are constantly putting him in the hall.

Reaction to appetite stimulant?
Besides his regular meds (Generic
concerta
), I gave him his appetite stimulant (Cyproheptadine 4mg) this afternoon. (I don't give it to him every day). He had a similar tantrum a few days ago, and I seem to remember I gave it to him that day as well.

Can Anxiety and ADD medicine be taken together?
I currently am on
Concerta
for my ADD. Recently though I have been having a few panic "attacks", nothing over the top, but the anxiety is there. It was suggested that I take Zoloft (spelling?) to help with that. Has anyone had experience with taking both medications daily?

How long do you wait to call the doctor to say the medication is not working?
We started off on
Concerta
and we had seen improvements. Then we tried a higher dosage after it seemed like it wasn't working as well anymore and the teacher's feedback agreed with my observations. The higher dosage worked great for a few months and then everything changed.

Has anyone had any benefit from Aripiprazole for combined type ADHD?
I'm currently taking
Concerta
36mg XR but feel like it's not really working that well anymore. I've been told that Aripiprazole is sometimes used off-label for ADHD and wondering whether to discuss with my doctor to switch to this?

Anger and ADHD
He is taking a low dose of

13-year old son w/ADHD and executive function deficiencies
He was diagnosed with ADHD and started medication - six different kinds (with various side effects) before we settled on
Concerta
18 mg. His 5th/6th grade teachers were accommodating (one teacher/one class all day).
