GERD/LPR and anxiety ;(
I'm on
Cimetidine
and Gaviscon Advance which stop the burning but nothing else, and what scares me is the moment I stop them, everything comes back. Worst of all, the
Cimetidine
is only 400mg and it doesn't last all day.

Horrendous Blood Test Results
I am taking
Cimetidine
200mcg 3 times a day, that affects absorbtion of Levothyroxine. (On the patient leaflet) I have low cortisol @ 15.3 total. I was thinking about a rT3 test? I have been taking temps and still below normal. One was 35.3, but mostly in the low 36's.

Do Not take Iron meds with Levo.!.
I have also been taking
Cimetidine
for a while which can also block the effects of levo so its no wonder the doctor has upped my dose! Hope this info is useful to some of you.

Brain Fog
Included in this group are names which may be familiar: Ranitidine,
Cimetidine
, Famotidine and Nizatidine. The list of drugs that can cause brain fog is quite extensive. I've only skimmed the surface. Doctors and pharmacists certainly can identify many more.

Newbie!
I am now on hydroxycholoquine, meloxicam,
cimetidine
, amitriptyline, dapsone and propranalol as well as iron supplements. I truly rattle. Today, I feel so relieved.

What works better to help adrenals, Levo or NDT??
I have diarrhea a lot, plus take
Cimetidine
, so a battle to get anything into my system. I've now had enough of Levo and when I see Dr Skinner on Wednesday I'm thinking of going onto NDT. I'm worried about how much this is going to cost, money is very tight.

Are there any People who Feel they don't "Store" the Levo in their Bodies?
I have to take
Cimetidine
3 times a day, 600mcg in total to keep acidity down in my body. I have never felt I've stored the Levo, and have always been aware when it is running out. During periods of great stress my hypo symptoms get worse and I get a sore throat.

could do with some advice
Im taking 8 puffs of symbicort 200/6 a day too, plus some antibiotic ear drops and cetirizine and
cimetidine
for my dermographic urticaria. You guys seem to be much more practised in the more serious side of asthma.
