Recommendations for Body Wash and Moisturiser During Chemotherapy.
Hi all, I have noticed my dad has dry and itchy skin (no rash) after his first round of chemo and understand this is a common side effect. We have been advised to use non-scented shower gel and moisturizer but there are so many on the market, I wondered if anybody has any recommendations? Thank you

Surviving cancer: some options for you to consider
Mon-Fri I decided to have 23 treatments of: radiotherapy, and Friday's, the added
chemotherapy
mix of carboplatin and Plaxetaxel (Apparently Flox is too strong for my body to accept).

There was no offer for
chemotherapy
or radiation. I was told that my doctor needed more experience with the DaVinci robot and I was chosen. I died that day and was traumatized beyond traumatized and purposely given ecoli and regretted the surgery.

Long time PRD sufferer.
Back in 1979 I had a rare cancer in my bladder, as a result I had
chemotherapy
and radiation therapy and had my bladder removed. As a result I've had a urostomy bag for best part of 45 years! (This does not bother me at all its part of me š).

CLL then long remission and now Myeloma
I was treated with
Chemotherapy
again (Bortezimib, Cyclophosphamide,Dexamethazone) I achieved a good partial remission and now having a bone strengthener infusion called Zonedronic acid once a month. Apparently Myeloma is a cancer of the blood plasma cell which is also linked to the B cell.

We might for the first time really be thinking of cures of cancerā
Initially, when
chemotherapy
was developed, medical oncologists thought if we find the right combination of
chemotherapy
, we can cure most patients with cancer. That turned out to be naĆÆve, and there was a lot of discouragement among clinicians when their clinical trials didnāt improve outcomes.

End of IBrance ā¦
With radiation now on the schedule my ONC has stopped the IBrance and anastrozole for the duration and is offering me a choice of two treatments: Piqray and fulvestrant injections (I do have the mutation for this targeted treatment) or xeloda (which is a broader
chemotherapy
oral drug).

Prostate cancer morphed into NEPC
Now I'm on carboplatin, etoposide and Atezolizumab-
chemotherapy
and immunotherapy. The following article from Healthline is a great description of what took place, and possibly why.

Is my sister repeating history?
Through the previous posts you would know that my younger brother is undergoing
chemotherapy
treatment for almost 7 months now. So this post is dedicated to my sister. I came across something shocking. She is around 12. And has been the life of the party.

Update on my CLL diagnosis
The timing of symptom onset is suspicious for
chemotherapy
-associated neuropathy, although this is not typically associated with Obinituzumab or Venetoclax. Micromedex does report dizziness/vertigo occurring with Venetoclax.

radiation whack-a-mole?
If I am about to play radiation whack-a-mole, it might be better to go straight to
chemotherapy
and skip the collateral damage. I know there are no firm answers, so I am seeking the experience of you all.

Change in low grade diagnosis -to high grade ovarian carcino sarcoma?
My medical team are now seeking to urgently reverse the ileostomy to allow
chemotherapy
to begin as soon as possible. Is there anyone on this forum with a similar experience or advice? I feel so scared and alone with this new diagnosis. Claire
