Can AF impact on sleep
At first I put this down to anxiety especially when a
cardioversion
failed. But I only rarely suffer from anxiety know yet my sleep deprivation has got worse I average two or three hours a night. I have now made an appointment with GP to talk about sleeping tabs.

Wanted to say thank you for the advice a few weeks ago about my Afib
I saw the head consultant, who is a Cardiologist and EP, and low and behold yes there is evidence of the Afib before the
Cardioversion
. Then I told him I had the AliveCor and he was like ' you have the app and readings..let me see' and I was able to show him what has been happening.

Exercise and training with AF
I'm on 1.25mg of Bisoprolol and 20mg of rivaroxaban and am waiting for a
cardioversion
, hopefully in the next 4 weeks or so. I did an iron distance triathlon 2 weeks before the AF started and it came on at the end of a hot, hilly 100km bike ride in Mallorca.

I had a successful
cardioversion
ten days ago and you were quite right, it was a doddle!! I have a question however. About 48 hours after the procedure I started with a severe headache with dizziness, neck pain and stiffness. The headache is still there but not as bad.

New to this forum, but not to AF
I was first diagnosed with AF in 2013, had a
cardioversion
and then an ablation at the end of 2013 that kept me in NSR till spring of 2017, when episodes started again.

Tekosyn /cardioversion
Also had 2nd
cardioversion
2 days ago. Is it possible for
cardioversion
to work after the fact instead of immediately? I didn't feel any improvement past two days but today seems better. Maybe I am not in afib at this moment??!!Those who are on tekosyn are you able to take your other meds as well?

Tikosyn so far Success
I’m a 65-year-old male that’s had three oblations and a
cardioversion
that have not been able to control my persistent a flutter. My heart rate when the ablation’s were working was about 60 resting and could never get over 100.

Nerve pain - general anaesthetics?
It’s the same symptoms I had when I was diagnosed with Shingles and subsequently postherpetic neuralgia in April after my major flutter episode and
cardioversion
. I’m still on nightly drugs for the nerve pain which helps me sleep (but doesn’t seem effective anymore during the day).

Failed cardioversion
I had a failed
cardioversion
two months ago and had amiodarone added to my list of medications to help. I had another
cardioversion
yesterday and although it worked this morning the AF is back. I have put a call in to the cardiologist but am now feeling quite disheartened.

At home again
I was on Apixiban for 4 weeks after my
cardioversion
in April. A few days after the
cardioversion
I was diagnosed with Shingles and nerve pain a week or so later. It was the same back pain I had yesterday and the same symptoms with my BP shooting up.

Afib & cardioversion
Its now returned ànd the drugs have not converted it to normal sinus rhythm and are wanting to do an electro-
cardioversion
. Should I skip this and just elect for an ablation? Also, I have developed a tooth infection and have a script for penicillin.

Introduction
I have seen Cardiologist a few times and now on Propranolol and Ramipril but I am concerned that the Health ‘Professionals’ are not recommending any further action such as
Cardioversion
or Ablation. I never have rapid heartbeat just persistently shows up as irregular.

Hospital has lost evidence of my PAF, so now they are saying I don't have it...
Because they lost all written evidence of the big episode prior to the
cardioversion
. No episode was captured on the 5 day Holter last year, keeping in mind that the Biso is controlling the rate and they can be tricky to catch.

Lowest maintenance dosage of Amiodarone daily?
I have recently been put on Amiodarone after a
cardioversion
that lasted only three days failed. Was then started on 800mg /day to convert me back to NSR. Fortunately, this happened after three days and was told I could halve my dosage to 400mgs/day (4 days early).
