Calcium

I've upped my calcium and vit D and my treadmill walking and added more resistance and some hand weights. I work at a full-time sit down job. Just don't know what is enough and who to trust.

I have been prescribed vit d3 800iu and my GP is asking her team for any advice on the calcium supplement as I have an intolerance to the additives in the chewable vit d with calcium originally prescribed.

These have been non thyroid issues, one one did notice my calcium levels were too low, which my own surgery had dismissed as not important nd ordered calcium, phosphorus and parathyroid blood tests to be performed. They can also write repeat prescriptions,sick notes and refer to secondary care.

lactose intolerance I was not able to take most of my vitamins during the pregnancy, and since most of the medications and pain-killers are prohibited while pregnancy my doctor opted not to prescribe any vitamins during the pregnancy since my gastritis was worsening, hence the baby took away all my calcium

Since being diagnosed I have also had at heart scan which has shown zero calcium so my heart is in good shape outside of this. I am due to see my EP tomorrow for a follow up and I want to ask about ablation for the ectopics but I am not entirely sure that it is a possibility.

Hello all .... is anyone else on 2 CCBs please? I'm already on amlodipine but have also been prescribed Diltiazem as I can't tolerate other BP meds. My BP is not too bad atm it's my pulse rate that is high at 100 bpm . Thankyou very much

After the test in 2018 I started D3 and calcium supplements, but apparently that wasn’t enough. I’ve already changed to a different calcium supplement, and also added vitamin K2.

thyroidectomy I'd take the wonder drug T4 and I'd never look back, and don't get me wrong it is a fantastic drug for many, but I found it was not for me, I eventually got on T3 which did restore my T3 level I did feel OK on it, unfortunately after being on it around 4 months my parathyroid hormone and calcium

I have a recurring nightmare that I will end my days as a skin sack supported by piles of degraded calcium…like an old teacher's school bag full of chalk.

They sent me home after blood test 2 so obviously are not really concerned but suggested I ask for a calcium scan and a repeat of the CT coronary angiogram I had 18 months ago.

My oncologist has suggested that I take 1200mg calcium/day supplement. This supplement includes about 600 IU of vit d to improve calcium apsorption. I take no other vit. d. For what it's worth, I consume only small amounts of dairy.

I have been taking calcium and Vitamin D daily but am not sure if I should take them together. I take the prednisone in the morning. Should the Vitamin D and Calcium be taken together with the prednisone. SBJ
