B12 by 💉, . . . & synergistic nutrients to consider ! 😑
Hello ! 😊 The first step on the B12 💉 now taken - although seeing improvements, with a even twice-a-week frequency may take . . . weeks or months . . . in the case of a v long term medical condition ? So far, not feeling too different either way - & in all, the 1000ug was pretty much a cinch, n⛔

Blood draw advice
Her creatinine is about 0.7 now and she takes
Calcitriol
. She shares this condition with my husband who has had two transplants (one at 9 and one at 18) and he’s doing amazing so that keeps me feeling hopeful that my daughter will be ok too.

Calcitriol protection against dopamine loss (2006). Where is this now?
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16758362/
Calcitriol
is best used for PD because it is the active form of the vitamin D(3) metabolite and modulates inflammatory cytokine expression. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22930493/

The end of Parkinson's as we know it today. From the Levodopa era to the "transformative" information era.
.); high doses of vitamin D3 (5000-10000 IU per day) and even
calcitriol
, etc. 2. Or continue in the loop, in the labyrinth, going round in circles waiting for the treatment that will change everything.

Hair Loss & Anniversary.
I was taken off
Calcitriol
months ago and found the old meds when I was cleaning out my trial and error meds box. I started squeezing a capsule in with my regular generic shampoo. I noticed my hair started growing faster and little sprouts where new hair is growing in. It took about a month.

Dental question
I now have Osteoporosis and take Prolia along with prescribed
Calcitriol
and ErgoCalciferol and numerous vitamins. My concern now is dental related. After spending thousands on my teeth, I am in need of a 7-tooth bridge preceded by 3 implants and bone grafts in 3 weeks.

Has anyone had Mental Health or Cognitive Impairment while on Calcitriol?
I don't think my kidney can clear all the drug from my system. Memory loss, crying, simple word usage. Things looking bigger then they are. Some other minor hallucinations. Any response would be welcome.

Calcitriol
I was recently put on
Calcitriol
and vitamin D. I have been reading up on it and as always get conflicting reports....but what I did get from it is there needs to be some balance or it could kill you. Not something I’m comfortable with.

Pseudogout
I was prescribed
Calcitriol
.25mg everyday. Recieved a call from nephrology to cut back on the
Calcitriol
to 3 days a week because the meds made my calcium level spike. Sometime during this situation I acquired a severe pain in my ankle that radiates up my lower leg. The pain is excruciating.

PD associated with lower prevalence of chronic kidney disease
Active vitamin D (
calcitriol
) and klotho are lower in PD and they are also produced both in the kidneys and in the brain.

Post-treatment Levels of Plasma 25- And 1,25-dihydroxy Vitamin D and Mortality in Men With Aggressive Prostate Cancer
The hormonal form, which can vary throughout the day is
1,25-dihydroxy Vitamin D
{aka 1,25-D, 1,25(OH)D,
calcitriol
}. We do not learn anything about deficiency levels, but at least this is Australia & not Sweden. Instead we have traditional quartiles. How low was quartile 1?

Anyone struggle with secondary hyperparathyroidism AND hypercalcemia
. - Last year, as I moved in Stage 5, the OTC Vitamin D was insufficient, and my PTH climbed to 170 (Ca = 9.6), so my doctor started me on
Calcitriol
1X/day. - Three months layer, my Calcium levels went to 11.1 and PTH was 36, so my doctor reduced my dose to every other day, which brought my levels
