Opinions please, I know we arent docs, just wondering if I should shut up and b a good patient or push for my wishes: Ive had PAF close to 5 yr( I think, lol), getting less and less frequent. My last episode was spring 2018. I was taking Flecainide as a pip, and metoprolol twice daily. 4 mo ago I asked

Mastectomy or Not?
I have been troubled with just overthinking my Onc plan for my path going forward. I trust that she is making decisions with my best interest in mine, I google a lot and sometimes that can be a nightmare. To explain, I was slated to have my mastectomy on my left breast where the tumor is located. Just

Just curious
Just wanted some input from you. I've been on Ibrance and Anastrozole for almost a year. I've tolerated it quite well. My question may sound petty, but ...... My hair has tinned so much, my eyesight has become very blurry, body aches and I'm tired of my white blood count being so low. I'm really

Introducing myself to COPD group
Let's see, where do I begin? I am on the Ibrance and breast cancer place to chat. But I am glad to hear that we have one for COPD as well. I was diagnosed with COPD in 2006 and had come to be very knowledgeable to the way to get the best meds for COPD. For instance, I knew my treatment needed to include

My mum has now been moved on to maintenance oral drug Tamoxifen.. after having 23 weekly taxols for 4 small liver mets. She had good response from the taxol but her oncologist wants her to have a break from it as she’s had a lot so on to tamoxifen. Had anyone had any experience with this? My mum is 60

Could it be effects of Zometa after SRT?
Happy New Year everyone. I'm frightened and need to hear from calmer voices. In early December I had stereotactic radiation therapy on 4 spots on my spine/sacrum. The following weekend I had some intense pain flairs but it eased up after a week or so. The following week I began having a lot of fatigue

Fluvestrant and Ibrance
I had my first cycle of shots for Fluvestrant last week. Reading from the post I was prepared for the procedure and the shots were not as bad considering Onc office used ice packs. Thank you Ladies for all the informative info I gathered here. Now onto Ibrance, I took my first pill yesterday, 125 mg,

Pudendal Nerve Entrapment
Hi, I have been suffering with pudendal nerve entrapment since June 2015 and to date am still in pain. I take Gabapentin and amiltriptyline for the pain but to be perfectly honest, they are not that effective. I have had every single test done under the sun including xrays, ultrasounds, Scans, MRIs

5th day old Cardio version
Successful Cardio version on weds NSR. Pulse rate around 57 bpm which was what it used to be pre AF. Bisoprolol reduced from 7.5mg to 5mg. However 5 days later pulse has lowered to under 50bpm. Will contact Arrythmia nurse tomorrow! I suppose it’s to be expected with still taking Bisoprolol!! thoughts

There is hope. I was in AFIB for years probably 10 or more, as I hit 60 yrs old it got worse, really so bad I couldn't keep up with simple things like walking, stairs became exhausting, back in June I was taking a friend to hospital, after a flight of stairs I went grey in the face and breathless, straight

I apologize for recent inadvertent insensitive post I made & for previous “hijacking” of others posts.
I jumped in to give my spiel and encouragement to a newly diagnosed person RE: Ibrance convo therapy & didn’t realize that concurrently there were posts by others who had experienced the progression while on Ibrance that we all fear. I also learned today that there is a term on boards like this that

Insurance denials
Can anyone advise me as to how to get insurance approval for a ganglion impar block? My husband is completely debilitated with excruciating anal/rectal pain that began 20 months ago. After months of agony, visits to multiple specialists, trying lidocaine, Valium suppositories, nifedipine, hydrocortisone

Apixaban and indigestion
After an ecg about 3 months I was diagnosed with AF and put on anti coagulants, first rivaroxaban and for past month apixaban. This is pretty free from side effects apart from indigestion a couple of hours after a meal. today I had some cranberry cheese and two hours later I had very severe burping
