APIXABAN - Is it making me feel so wierd
Iam an 87 year old male and have always been relatively fit and healthy. Although I had no symptoms of Atrial Fibrillation, I was diagnosed with A F last Summer and was prescribed Apixaban 2.5mg twice a day. Since then I have felt generally light headed with the feeling of being on the cusp of fainting

COVID VACCINE
Just found out from oncology nurse (I rang her) that I should have Covid vaccine during my week off Ibrance! No one has advised this before...probably logical but in all the excitement of getting a jab I hadn’t thought about it. Luckily I had just finished week 4, so asked if I could extend not taking

Tinnitus on Ibrance and Letrozole
Hi ladies, has anyone developed Tinnitus whilst taking Ibrance and Letrozole? I spoke to my Oncologist today and he feels it’s unlikely the meds are causing it. He said it’s rare. He wants me to have a hearing test. Now I’m concerned in case he takes me off the meds I have been on for near to years and

Cost of ibrance
I’m new here. I have had mbc for 8 years now, and was prescribed Ibrance this January. I just paid $2500 for my first copay of 21 pills. My oncology team tried to get me financial help but was told every time that my husband and I make too much money. I am a disabled secretary and my husband is retired

Anyone on Ibrance have lowering haemoglobin and rising liver enzyme AST? Concerned it may be cancer in marrow....
Hi all I've been on Ibrance and Letrozole since MBC diagnosis in August 2019 to bones and marrow (after primary bilateral mastectomy, immediate lat dorsi reconstruction, chemo, rads, and Herceptin in 2010). Stable CT scans since, but now AST liver enzyme rising, my Ferritin (which is odd with low haemoglobin

Hi ladies, I am wriring this on behalf of my mom, she had breast cancer on left side back in 2007 (chemo, radiaton and tamoxifen for 5 years). everything seemed to be going well until she had surgery to remove her gull bladder 2017, she then started to experience pain near surgery area. Need your opinion
I always try to be upbeat about my posts. Don't post often, but enjoy reading about the strength of all of you warriors. I was diagnosed in 2016 with a very small cancer in left breast. Had lumpectomy and 21 rounds of left breast radiation. Like so many, I thought I was done. I was told recurrence

Preserved LV Systolic function
Does anyone know what this is? This was on a letter as diagnosis from cardiologist to my GP in addition to paroxysmal atrial fibrillation but was never mentioned to me.

Is there no pattern to this AFIB stuff?
My episodes have increased to almost once a month which is very disappointing because they used to be almost a year apart. I go to emergency & get chemically converted. PIPs have not worked. Last year, an IV of metoprolol (beta blocker) got me back into normal sinus rhythm, but the last couple of times

Ibrance, anastrozole, zometa side effects
This past week, week two off Ibrance because of low WBC, I felt a heaviness in upper chest, breathless, and consequently, sky rocketing high blood pressure. I called oncologist but all they heard was "chest pain" and "can't breathe" and sent me to the ER. 7 hours late and countless tests, I emerged

Unexpected Fast AF
I posted earlier about some AF which started this morning at 0130. I took various Kardia readings and discovered that the heart was beating at about 75-85 bpm for several hours. When I got up at about 0900, however, the reading shot up to 146 bpm, then, very surprisingly, 10 minutes later after taking

Cancer tumor marking rising but PET shows no progression of disease
Hello. I am taking letrozole and iBrance for 3 years. My cancer tumor marker has been rising constantly (over 300 now) for last 6 months. However, PETscan shows no disease. Anyone experience anything similar? Is there some other scan that might show where the cancer is growing. Or could the marker be

Ibrance following SBRT radiation to two bone mets?
Hi everyone, my mom recently had SBRT radiation to two tumors (thoracic and lumbar spine) followed by a kyphoplast procedure last week as precautionary against future fractures to her lumbar spine from the radiation. She just started fulvestrant and her oncologist is recommending she do ibrance as well

Greetings
Hello all. I am new to the site. I have been searching for a MBC-specific group to join since our situation is vastly different than many others. I went through my initial Breast Cancer starting in 2012. Stage 3. Chemo, radiation, bilateral mastectomy, reconstruction. All was well until October
