Does Anyone Know Why Ibrance Gets a Week Off Every Month and Verzenio Does Not?
Hi all! I'm being switched from Ibrance/Letrozole to Verzenio/Letrozole and have been researching (or trying to research), the reason Ibrance is taken 3 weeks with 1 week off.....and Verzenio is taken every day. I can't seem to find the reasoning behind the dosage protocol. I know that the week off

Beast is Back
Three weeks after my fourth ablation, and advised to drop flecainide, the beast returned. (Kept on metoprolol & Xarelto). Started after an afternoon nap for no reason at all. Confirmed by nurse with ecg yesterday and put back on flecainide until appointment on Monday with ep and another ecg. I’m hoping

Ibrance continue on 2nd line?
Hi I’ve had progression on leterzol and Ibrance, so swapping to fulestarant. Did anyone continue with Ibrance in this situation? If so, did it still pack a punch?

Questions about medical terminology
Hello you knowledgeable lot!! Can anybody help me out with this? I will be asking my GP and cardiologist but getting through to them is like winning the golden ticket so I wondered if any of you had heard of these terms! I had a 12 lead ECG and I’ve had a letter saying it shows sinus rhythm (fabulous

First appointment with arrhythmia service.
Hello. I’m 7 wks into my AF journey, having had an episode early March and new to the forum. I’m trying to learn as much as I can. When experiencing my episode where I was tachycardic and diagnosed from ECG with AF , I was discharged on the same day with bisuprolol 2.5 and rivoroxaban 20 mgs daily.

Hi all, please can some of you list the life style changes that can be recommended to some one newly diagnosed with Afibb?
I have a friend who is awaiting diagnosis of Afibb, also has huge burden of ectopic beats and tachycardia when in sinus mode. I have seen on here listed sometimes, the life style recommendations that can be made whilst awaiting cardiology appointment but have been unable to find them. Also can not remember

Could anyone share with me their experience of the process, experience and effectiveness of the Implanted Loop Recorder?
Hi Friends, I am having a loop recorder implanted on Friday at Barts. I was feeling quite positive about the idea but as the day gets nearer find myself getting myself getting nervous about it. My main anxiety is that in some way way in will cause to me have another A-fib episode, which I haven

Covid, vaccinated and not vaccinated
Hello everyone, and good Saturday to all!! I'm writing hoping to get some information and enlightenment given the confusing world we are living in. I'm not looking to start any arguments about getting vaxxed or not getting vaxxed. I haven't been able to get good "real life" information from my doctor

Lower Ibrance dosage?
I have read in several places that Ibrance dosage can be adjusted without disrupting its effectiveness. Since my MBC diagnosis, I have been on Ibrance at 125mg with Letrozole for about six months and the fatigue and breathlessness are intense as I try to get back into some sort of routine workout schedule

Post ablation arrhythmia
I am almost 4 months post ablation for atrial fibrillation. Whilst jogging after my daughter, who was on her scooter, I had an odd heart episode. It may have been AF, but it felt like it could also have been ectopics combined with sinus rhythm - my heart was already beating quite fast, which made it

Ibrance OS - disappointing
Hi ladies, Hope you're having a good day. Just came across this article about ibrance https://www.pfizer.com/news/press-release/press-release-detail/pfizer-presents-positive-real-world-evidence-first-line 49 months median OS vs 43. It's kind of disappointing compared to the other 2 cdk 4/6 - I remember

Anyone else tried it!
Had an appointment with Arrythmia nurse today. In AF when I arrived and picked up on ecg twice. My episodes are getting closer together and Flecainide at 100 x2 is no longer holding them. I am wondering if slowly weaning myself off it and going permanent will be a better bet. All thoughts gratefully

Ibrance and Low WBC
Low WBC so would 2weeks on and 2 off on Ibrance be a good idea instead of 3 and 1? WBC was .08 on Ibrance 125. Also mentioned lowering Ibrance to 100.Any advice is greatly appreciated! Ty😊❤

Sliding into persistent Afib
Hello I am on Flecaine 200 ( slow release) and 3.75 Bisoprolol. I usually get episodes 1 or 2 times a month the longest lasting between 5 an7 hours which self resolve. However last Saturday/Sunday night at 2 in the morning I popped into Afib. This lasted until in 1 pm the next day. I was a bit wiped
