Just wondering about Oral Xeloda after 6 rounds of IV Chemo didnt have the exact desired results we wanted. Wondering if there are times Xeloda achieved clear Margins on Liver Mets when IV Chemo didnt after 6rounds. Thanks for any input.

Great appointment and Happy American Thanksgiving from Canada!
My Mom had her monthly lab work with Faslodex injection today. Her labs are excellent and the liver met is stable. She’s in Saint John New Brunswick and I’m here visiting. My Mom’s also on a trial. Sending positivity and joy to all!!

Xeloda and Zoladex?
Hi everyone, hoping someone can help clear this up for me. Last week I shifted to Xeloda from Piqray. I asked my oncologist about whether I continue with monthly shots of Zoladex, which are administered by my GP, and she seemed a bit unsure, then said no. I left the hospital without much confidence and

Hi everyone. Hope all you warriors are doing well. I wondered if any of you have any words of wisdom for us? My mum was diagnosed in May 2019, had chemo and debulking surgery, which worked amazingly well. Sadly, reoccurred within 10months of being NED. Again, had Chemo and secondary debulking. Mum

Decision time!
After finding out I had progression to my liver in July and acute side effects to Everolimus after only 6 weeks, I have been advised there is further progression to my liver. So I now face the dilemma of no treatment and at best 6 months, or choice of chemo. My oncologist has given me 3 options, oral

End of IBrance …

Good news
I said recently in my post that I'm pleased not to dwell on the numbers and keep everything in perspective. But I still appreciate good news when it comes. This week I had a call from oncologist largely because she's liaising with my dentist about dental work. Basically she was telling me it was worth

cancer marker 15-3
My moms marker went up from 163 to 332 . She started her second line treatment about 7 weeks ago after being on Ibrance and Femara for around 2 and half years. She is now on faslodex and anfintor. Does this mean its not working ? And if it’s not will they change both meds or just one of them? Thank

interesting Xeloda trial
Hi friends, I listened to a presentation summarizing reports from ASCO 2023 related to MBC, and what really interested me was that for Xeloda, a fixed dose taken one week on/one week off, produced as good results as current standard of care with fewer side effects. Also: cream form of Voltaren/diclofenac

May be doing IV chemo for the first time. Need tips - really freaked out!
Hi, so I’ve successfully avoided doing IV chemo since 2019. But due to bone mets I just had hip surgery and the pills I’ve been on are not working. I was told by the surgeon 2 days ago that I need systemic treatment asap or I’ll die. I’m having a petscan tomorrow and depending on how it looks, I’ll

Residual pain post lumpectomy and radiation
Hello, I had a lumpectomy in April and a course of radiation in June. It is now mid August and I still get shooting pains and occasional soreness in the affected breast. It's not terrible, but worrisome. I am wondering if this is normal.
