Nebuliser or Not?
I know similar issues have been covered before, but I'd really appreciate some quite specific advice. I was living in London, 5 minutes walk (literally) from a large A&E. My consultant there said I shouldn't have home nebs because I can deteriorate quickly and if I need nebs I need to be in hospital

Freeman
Well outcome of my visit to the Freeman Hospital, he has basically said a transplant is not for me 1) both lungs stuck to my chest wall due to previous operations. 2) Fungal ball/infection in one of my lungs. He will ask the surgeons if there is anything they can do but he also said don't hold your breath

Oxygen for low Sats ?
When I was in the hospital recently they put me on a nebuliser for about 10 minutes to increase my Sats from about 84% to about 96%. As soon as it was taken off they went down again. I don't need extra oxygen to help me breathe as such but really need it for the Sats. I now have a new doctor and wonder

New job and neb.
Hi everyone, I finally managed to log on after the switchover. How is everyone? I just started a new job, working with children with cancer, which seems like a better match, although still challenging. It involves a lot of walking. I'm glad, because it keeps me moving, but that is challenging too
