my son has had one life treating wheez well thats whta they called it at the hospital and we were in high dependecey unit for 6 days i was woundering would my docter be able to let us have a nebuliser at home we were back in hospital on saturday they had him on the neb every hour once he was on it it stoped the croughing

Hi Julie,

Is your son under a respiratory consultant? Its usually them who prescribe nebulizers (although a few gps still do I understand) but they rarely prescribe them as the theory is that if you are poorly enough ti need a neb, you should be in hospital.

Its always worth an ask though!!!
