Pregnant?!
So we decided to start trying for a baby. Having T1D, endometriosis and adenomyosis, I researched everything from surrogacy to IVF fully expecting this to be impossible for us. This morning I decided to take a random pregnancy test (I don’t seem to have menstrual cycles presently) and OMG it was positive

Yearly endo nonsense
I've given up ranting, this just seems to be yearly confirmation of what we are up against (sadly most don't get as far as Endochrinoloy. My GP surgery recently asked me to confirm my Levo dose? They prescribe it each month so is it compliance? I replied 150mcg Levothyroxine and 10mcg Liothyronine (I've

Strange Results
Hi, I was diagnosed with PA in 2013/14 and was given injections for a while but that stopped a good few years ago. I had tests done via Endo a while back and they said my levels were fine despite no injections/supplements. I had tests done in May 2023 and the active b12 came back as high. It showed

Help Interpreting Results
Hi. Can I have advice on results? These are from a while back for anyone who has read my recent posts. I was on 1 tablet of T3 a day at this point. I previously had high thyroid antibodies but the LDN I take seems to have lowered them to be in range. I was wondering if the same has happened with pernicious

TSH and T4 raising on medications
Hi Initially, my TSH level was 8 mIU/L (normal range 0.4 to 4.0 mIU/L), with T3 and T4 within normal ranges. Upon starting a 0.25 euthyrox (T4) dosage, my TSH surged to 18, coinciding with the onset of mild discomfort in my rectal area, which I suspect may be hemorrhoids. Despite a dosage increase to

Thyroid Bloods - Opinions Sought
Hi everyone, Have recently had the below blood results from private testing and I'd love the benefit of those who have more knowledge than myself. Brief history - total thyroidectomy 2019 and a downward health spiral ever since, significant weight gain (three dress sizes and no sign of stopping

Nosebleeds and thyroid / blood test query / going private
Hi there :) You were all so helpful when I was first diagnosed with hypothyroidism last year, and I was hoping I could trouble you all with another question. - My levothyroxine was raised to 75mg a day in February based on my NHS blood test (TSH 5.91 mU/L, free T4 15.8pmol/L). - Not really sure if

sigmapharm T3
Has anyone had any issues with this brand? I only ask as the last few scripts have been sigmapharm 20mcg rather than Mercury, and it’s taken me a few months to work through supplies I had until I’ve been using that exclusively. Meantime I’ve had a random “high” and now feeling very low (as posted recently

Starting T3
Hi I had appointment with private GP and the plan is for me to start T3. I am currently taking 75/100 mg Levothyroxine alternate days. My latest results were TSH 1.28, T3 4, T4 20.4 I’m told my conversion rate is poor at 5.1. It’s suggested that I take 2.5 mcg 3 times a day to begin. If I feel ok after
