Beclometasone (powder)
My GP has asked if I'd be willing to switch to the powder form of
beclometasone
. I agreed, however when I inhale , I don't have the sensation that the powder is coming out of the inhaler at all! Is this normal? (I have clicked to release the powder before inhaling). Thanks š

Better at night?
The breathlessness never went away, and I was given salbutamol which worked most of the time and Qvar (
beclometasone
) but I still had that chest tightness and horrid, intense itching in my lungs.

Silent reflux or asthma?
I've been on salbutamol as required for 9 weeks and Qvar 50 (
beclometasone
) for 5 weeks. I tried 10 days of desloratadine antihistamine which felt great for the first 3 days then worse again. Chest x-ray was clear.

Help, travelling and got Easyhaler wet
We are in Argentina and I got my only
Beclometasone
Easyhaler wet. The powder still looks dry in the little window, but when I press down and tap on the mouthpiece I canāt see any powder. Does this mean it is no longer working?

Chronic wheeze but no asthma?
. - for the last 10 months Iāve had a chronic wheeze everyday - have tried
Beclometasone
inhaler twice a day but that didnāt help. - only thing that relieves the wheeze is ventolin. - have had spirometer and Bronchial challenge test - both came back completely normal.

Confused and looking for advice please :)
So this question is mainly aimed at people who have a mild form of asthma I guess. And I know that I've asked a few questions before and gotten advice based on it but just wondering if someone has been in this situation or what I could do. Thanks in advance. Trying to keep this short...and failing ;

Fostair/ coughing fit leads to closed airway.
Fostair wakes me up at night, makes me need to drink more water and perhaps might be affecting my blood pressure - the
beclometasone
has caused me to have fainting in previous years and this has happened this last Monday (the coughing fit was the previous Friday.)

How long have I got?
I am on
beclometasone
steroid inhaler which seems to help but I still cannot breathe out fully and am wheezy. I practice yoga and deep breathing exercises.

Will the need to clear my throat go?
She changed my preventer from Clenil Modulite to a MART inhaler, Fostair (
beclometasone
and formoterol). I used it last night and had an uninterrupted night's sleep. Hooray! The cough is also gone this morning, apart from a constant need to clear my throat.

Worsening Breathing Probs
I am currently on a beclomethasone inhaler for a couple of weeks, with a salbutamol one for 'just in case' as my GP thinks I may have asthma. I've had breathing issues on and off for a little under 2 months but over the past few weeks they've become progressively worse. It feels as if my diaphragm just

An update from me
For my mouth ulcers she has prescribed me Colchicine 500 micrograms to take twice a day - this should prevent any mouth ulcers forming, but if they do Iāve also been prescribed
Beclometasone
that is an inhaler, this will coat the inside of my mouth and reduce any inflammation.

Struggling - any advice?
It would mean taking 8 puffs in total per day (4 Fostair and 4 Clenil) and the medication appears to be the same as the Fostair - i.e.
beclometasone
dipropionate. Will it have any effect? Is there something else I should be trying?

Dr prescribed dry powder inhaler and I bought a MDI inhaler
So, I got prescribed Fostair (
beclometasone
+ formoterol) for asthma via dry powder inhaler (device name Nexthaler). Once in the pharmacy, the pharmacist told me that Fostair 100mcg was available with two different devices: Nexthaler and MDI.
