I have been prescribed Beclometasone 50 micrograms nasal spray 2 puffs twice a day, I am also on FOSTAIRNEXThaler 100, I find since starting the nasal spray 5days ago my feet &ankles are badly swollen, I have only been on the FostairNext for a few weeks which I felt was much better than my previous inhaler Symbicort, now I am wondering what could be causing the swelling, is it the inhaler or the nasal spray? Anyone else experienced this? Would appreciate any replies & advice..Thank you..x

I have had beclametasone nasal spray in the past which I have used as well as my Fostair MDI with no problems. I think you need to contact your GP about the swelling. Perhaps also speak to your pharmacist about possible side effects of your medication.
Thank you, CDPO16 for your kind reply, I have taken your sound advice & spoken to the pharmacist, who advised me to contact my GP,, I have gone back on Symbicort. just. now, & I am awaiting word from my GP..Hope all good & well with you
It's best if you speak to your gp. Swollen feet are a symptom of other health issues. P
I have been using both....they both have tiny amounts of steroids, but that should not effect your feet and ankles. I've had no symptoms with these 2 medications
Thank you,Suzie42 for your kind feply, I am awaiting word from my GP, glad both medications work well for you, but some medications may work well for some but not for others, I guess it isall trial & error, I am awaiting word from my GP on Monday & meantime I am back using Symbicort..Take care & stay safe..x
