After cardioversion
It wasn't the same as usual when he has had Arrythmia but for severe
atrial
flutter
and it was a rushed job in A & E where he was only partially sedated so he felt it. His heart rhythm/ speed is back to normal but he feels rubbish. Normally after the procedure he feels well again.

Rising resting HR
I'm on 1.25 Bisoprolol twice a day - started in March after a heart attack and increased by 1.25 when my
Atrial
Flutter
started in July. Does your body eventually become resistant to the effects (i.e. you'd need more of the drug to get the same effect)?

LBBB and flecainide
I wonder if anyone here with LBBB (along with AF /
flutter
or
atrial
ectopic beats) is also taking flecainide? I’ve been assured it’s safe but Dr Google has given me misgivings and my GP isn’t a fan, either. Steve

Something new…..
A letter arrived yesterday advising they were episodes of
Atrial
Flutter
and occasionally some rapid ventricular response. The longest episode was 12 minutes.

AFib/Atrial Flutter Burden
It says my AFib/
Atrial
Flutter
burden is 18%, which is up from 3% last year. This seems significant to me and a little panic producing. My average heart rate while in these episodes is in the 80s. Even when not on a beta blocker my normal heart rate is low. Around 50.

Bisoprolol - dramatic change in hr.
At this point I was in
Atrial
flutter
most of the time. Trying to bring my hr down , it was suggested to me that I increase to 10 mg and then possibly 12.5 ( because I am heavier).

Atrial Flutter ablation blanking period?
I had a PVI ablation at the end of July, which my EP says is 'going well' in that a Zio monitor fitted because of continuous tachycardia that developed and what I thought were AF episodes, has shown NO AF, just
Atrial
Flutter
. Good news!

Post ablation Atrial tachycardia/or Aflutter and AF.
Then, I flipped into
atrial
tachycardia or
flutter
( I don’t know ) and remained there for nearly four hours, before I reverted back into NSR. My sustained HR was at a rate of 130/132 of sinus rhythm. Applewatch reported no Afib, high heart rate.

ECG can anyone take a look at this for me ?
I’m wondering if it’s
atrial
flutter
? If anyone can advise or suggest what it might be that would be so helpful.

Good evening Diagnosis is
Atrial
Flutter
and various options given by a nice NHS cardiologist. He is slightly concerned by my slight build in terms of invasive surgery and possible bruising of heart. Just wondered if anyone had anything to contribute to this? Thanks all, R

Successful ablations?
I have AF and
Atrial
Flutter
. I’m now on verapamil and rivaroxaban and things have totally settled down for the last few months beside ectopic beats every so often. All I see on here is unsuccessful ablations so I am panicking about having something that might actually make me worse! Thank you

latest ECG results from Cardiologist, any cooments plse?
There was a single short period of narrow complex tachycardia with heart rate of 160 bpm which may have been sinus tachycardia or possibly
atrial
flutter
. Currently there is no indication for anticoagulation (CHADS Score 0)."

Constant anxiety since Atrial flutter diagnosis
Hi there. I was diagnosed with AFL 15 months ago after a visit to A & E when I woke up one morning with palpitations heartbeat of 140 and feeling like I was going to pass out. I had previously been told by my GP that I had an irregular heart rate but after a 48 hr monitor was advised yes it was irregular

cardiologist appointment soon but now with extra things to tell.?
My cardialive machine says possible AFIB with H/R 150 but the ECG looks more like
atrial
flutter
because it resembles a saw blade. According to images iv googled anyway.!!!

1 ablation 3 cardioversions
Within two days after, I was in the ER getting an electrocardioversion for
atrial
flutter
. It worked. Like magic. I spent an entire year without afib or aflutter, taking only Eliquis most of the time. In August of 2023, I got two wasp stings and used an epipen.

Ablation for atrial flutter?
I’d be very grateful for your thoughts on my
Atrial
Flutter
as I’ve found it very difficult to get the advice I feel I need. (I hope this post isn’t too long, you might want to jump to the end.)

Wish me luck/break a leg?
I had such a painful experience of just a short burst of RF to kill off
Atrial
Flutter
that I have been put off by fear. It was so bad! I was wideawake despite being onnmy notes that I wanted sedating. I was in a lot of pain as I'd only had minimum pain relief,as described on review.

Resting HR on Bisoprolol
Hi everyone, I was put on 1.25 Bisoprolol in March when I had a heart attack and then told to take it twice a day in July when I went into
Atrial
Flutter
after open heart surgery, meaning I'm now on 2.5mg. My resting heart rate was mostly in the low 60s these last 6 months which I assumed was good.
