Excessive menstrual bleeding
I had a stent inserted on 26/10/21 and am now on
aspirin
for life and Clopidogrel for 6 months. My last period was awful - on day 2, I leaked through super plus tampons and a sanitary towel plus my clothes every 25/30 minutes. I also passed clots the size of ping pong balls.

Tablets
As I have aphobia about swallowing tablets I am managing to swallow Bisoprolol, and Ramipril and take
aspirin
dispersible. I have to crush Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel and I dread having to take them. It is causing me untold dread each day.

Do I start Interferon?
Just taking
aspirin
daily. The two high spikes were 1-2 days after my seasonal flu jab. The thing is, I feel so well at the moment and, as far as I can tell, my platelets are pretty steady.

How often are meds reviewed by GP or Cardiologist.
I have been on the same medication since Feb 2020, never the doses or my case reviewed with the exception of an appointment with a Cardiologist in July 2020. Dealing with my GP surgery and getting any response from them is hard work, however and before contacting them I wanted to check with others how

Exercise post HA (four years ago)
I'm on Amlodipine, Remipril,
aspirin
and Atorvastatin. The only problem I have now is palpitations, and I had those for a long time before my HA. They tend to come and go but over the last couple of months have been a lot worse. I haven't seen my GP about it yet.

Chronic back pain and pain relief?
I had a stent fitted in my LAD a year ago and on the usual meds ie Ticagrelor, Atorvastatin,
Aspirin
. Everything I read it seems I shouldn’t take ibuprofen only paracetamol which doesn’t touch the pain. Been seeing an osteopath recently but so far hasnt helped much.

Major surgery with PV
I had a venesection this week (before the venesection my hct was just over 46) and take
aspirin
daily, and Hydroxycarbimide (18 tabs a week) I’ve told the surgeon and he has been in touch with my haematologist (they both work for the same hospital trust although different sites).

Body tremor
I take bisoprolol,
aspirin
, colchicine, omoprezol, mirtazapine. Mirtazapine i take before bed I was prescribed this for anxiety and leaflet does say may cause body tremors and shakes. Bisoprolol tends to cause a costochondritis kind of chest pain which I keep thinking is my heart.

Angiogram
I had a consultation with a Cardiologist over the phone. I already take blood pressure tablets. My GP referred me to a cardiologist because I felt lightheaded & heaviness on chest. The Cardiologist recommended & prescribed statins , daily asprin. I’m very reluctant to take them. He has referred me to

Absolutely heartbroken
If he could give me some meds (baby
aspirin
, heparin, anything that could do no harm) just to help me feel better and “to do something different” since I had 2 miscarriages. At this point they cancelled our appointment for the booking for FET saying “it’s better you speak to the doctor first”.

Should I get a hospital check?
Something strange happened work.I breathed some strange chemical and I am not sure what type of chemical. But since smelling/inhaling it the left side of my chest has been sore. I have taken two pain reliever aspirins but the soreness is still active. Just wondering if I should go to the ER for a check

So we had Covid19!
I took
aspirin
everyday to manage blood issues. I still take
aspirin
just incase. Because we are double vaccinated, I believe it saved our lives. Anyone who is debating or hesitant to take the vaccine, I can confirm it saves lives.

When did you start baby aspirin or Eparin injections?
I am waiting to hear from the hospital about the blood tests for recurrent miscarriage, most are anticoagulant blood tests. I have to do frozen transfer in December, when do you usually start taking blood thinners medication before transfer? I am assuming I have to start very soon if needed?
