Angina at rest but not when exercising
Hello , does anyone else get Angina at rest when anxious/stressed, but not when exercising? If so , was there any medication/therapy that helped you? I have confirmed myocardial ischemia during a mycocardial perfusion scan , and unobstructed arteries , confirmed by an angiogram , I do have narrowing

After cardiologist decided my left ventricle was fully blocked with plaque and it was as hard as a rock he said that the right ventricle had took over the job of purifying the arteries and had been doing this for a while, he suggested the best method to go forward was to leave things as they are and

NEW TABLET CHEMYDUR 60XL
I have started to self medicate and been given new tablets the ones above and included on the packet Isosorbida-5-mononitrate. It seems an important addition as I have had around 4 medical people phone me and asking about them and if I have any side affects taking them, I am only having half a tablet

Left Ventricular Non Compaction and dilated cardiomyopathy
Hi everyone. Hoping somebody can help with some advice! My dad died from dilated cardiomyopathy when he was 29. That was in 1979. It transpired that all his siblings have the gene as well as my sister and me. The heart specialist has been monitoring me for about 10 years and there were never any symptoms

Hi everyone, I haven't been on here for a while as some life events took over for the last couple of years. I am looking for some advice and feedback about my hospital appointments, ( sorry, it is a bit of a long post), which have just been changed. Since diagnosis I have been attending a hospital appointment

Aura migraine.
I had another Aura Migraine a couple of nights ago. I took an asprin as soon as I remembered. It’s a bit worrying as I was once told it could mean I could have a stroke. I got rid of my really awful migraines a few years ago but aura migraines took over and although they are not painful they do make

I take 75 mg
aspirin
on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is in an attempt to ward off migraine with difficulty with speech. If I do not take a small amount of

I readily develop one of these scary attacks when my ability to talk coherently can last for 3 - 4 hours.

clopidogrel or Asprin… get bruising when taken both
Good morning, I’m taking Atorvastatin 80mg, Amlodipian & Ezetembi for cholesterol / BP. I was also taking Clopidogrel 75mg but getting bruising regularly so suggested I take Asprin 75mg but the bruising is as bad. It was suggested that if this was the case I could just stop taking blood thinners as

I did it to myself
We have people posting who have serious issues, and I feel for every one of them. However, please send some good thoughts to me ASAP for being so stupid. I have gastroparesis and gallstones. I also managed to eat a can of fried Spam and 4 grilled cheese sandwiches over the last several days. I don't

Anti Phospholipid Syndrome and Thyroid
Hey all, does anyone else have APS or a knowledge of how it can interact with Thyroid issues? I understand they are both autoimmune conditions.I was diagnosed in 2016 due to miscarriages (no clotting episodes, fingers crossed). I had heparin injections whilst pregnant but told I wouldn't need anything

Bruises
Both my GP and cardiac nurse said it's nothing to worry about, quite normal whilst take clopidogrel and
aspirin
. GP carried out blood test, everything was normal. I think it's good for you to see your GP, they will put your mind to rest.

Aspirin. Two questions....
OK first can anyone confirm that it is right to give an
aspirin
of 300 to 320mg to a person who is, or possibly is, having a heart attack if that person is already taking100mg daily
aspirin
.
