Hi Everyone, Still fresh with the diagnosis but a lot more educated on it now and aware of the different forms of treatment. Also got my echo booked in and appointment with the consultant in the next 6 weeks which is good. 2.5mg bisoporlol seems to be working okay. No side effects that I’m aware of.

Hello all. I have a question that maybe someone can answer. Most of the time my heart beats fine. Steady and around 60 BPM. hello. i read somewhere that quercetin can inhibit thyroid function, anyone know if this is right? i have been taking it as an antiviral and senolytic. if so i wonder if there is a list anywhere of supplements to be avoided? I expressed concern before it was fitted and told it would be removed if I couldn’t tolerate the device but the consultant that fitted it dropped me from his arrhythmia clinic before I could speak to him and the excuse was that I didn’t suffer from arrhythmia any more?!

My dose of Amiodarone was removed to see if my Thyroid becomes normal again but that will probably take a few months, I fear that the arrhythmia has already returned though and there are no other drugs available apparently, Amiodarone is effectively the last resort.
