My battle with castration resistant metastatic prostate cancer that had spread to the bones since 2021
What do I need to do after biopsy, surgery, chemotherapy, Abiraterone treatment and ailment seems to progress as I am always in intense pain and sleepless nights? My PSA hovers above 100.

Rising PSA numbers
I completed my 4th infusion with Doxetoxal last week. Between my 1st and 2nd infusion my PSA went from 5.3 to 9.8. my ONC said not to worry as it takes a few infusions before the PSA turns down. Between my 3rd and 4th infusion my PSA went to 11.4. Being an optimist I read this as the curve being put

how sensitive is the PSMA scan?
My husband is scheduled for a PSMA scan February 24. His PSA was .86 on February 2. Been rising from .08 since October. I recall seeing a post from Tall Allen that stated the size the cancer has to be to be picked up on the scan, but I can’t seem to locate it. Last time he was scanned in January 2022

Seminal fluid decline
Over the past few years my seminal fluid has declined during ejaculation to almost nothing. I am 75. My PSA is 4.6 and my doctor's digital exam says all is normal. I read somewhere that a decline in seminal fluid production can be an indicator of prostate cancer. I have either benign prostatic hyperplasia

PSA screening
Many on this forum are diagnosed with advanced pca despite having little or no recognised symtoms. What's the case for more screening maybe I'm opening a can of worms but earlier diagnosis for lads on this forum would have been to great benefit

Considering this after a successful six sessions of LU-177 (Pluvicto), but now PSA is rising quickly. Thanks.

Firmagon and PSA
Hello All I just wanted to drop in and share my recent progress towards HDR BT. I took my first Firmagon shot on January 9th and had hot flashes and cold clammy sweats two weeks later. Since then they have increased in frequency but I just step outside and the cold air takes care of them in seconds.

IPP Inflatable Penile Implant after PCa Treatment; When to Move on Implant Surgery
Well, as with all things in life, hindsight is 20-20. So it is with my experience with my IPP (inflatable penile prosthesis) after 2 1/2 years of PCa treatment. I was operated on in June, 2020, had IMRT RT Radiation treatment ending May, 2021 and finished a total of 21 months on ADT this past December

Slow rising PSA. Wait and watch?
Hello everyone My father has been on ADT since two years (Zytiga and Lupron). His PSA fell from 500 at diagnosis to 0.41 last September. Since then it has slowly been creeping up. In 5 months it has risen to 0.74. I have got his PSA tested every month so this is not a random jump but a slow increase

Really want to have RP but may not be able to
Hubby really wants to have RP instead of Radiation. Gleason 7 (4+3) T1c, PSA 4.9. He is 59 yo. We are blessed to live only 1-1/2 hours from Dr. Patel in Celebration, Fl. Here’s the catch; about 18 years ago he had very rare Carotid Body Tumors (Benign) removed. Since that time, nerve damage caused fluctuations

What to do next?
So sad but my husband started Abiraterone in late December with a PSA of 937 and it was measured on Monday again. Result only just came in at 2764. Does not look like Abiraterone and zoladex combo had any effect on the PCa at all. Is there any harm in continuing with Abiraterone? It might be holding

starting salvage radiation next week
At just about the 3yr anniversary of a successful RALP we noted a rise in PSA. Two PET scans in Jan and Dec of last year turned up nothing, but the PSA lingers in the .13 to .15 range. We discussed a delay to salvage radiation but the trend line is going up and decided I’d just assume get on with it

Blood Clots in Urine
My dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate cancer in October. Gleason 4+3 and PSA 34. First Eligard shot in October. He just completed 30/44 rounds of radiation. Last night he had some major blood clotting in his urine. Blocking his flow. Today only a little bit. By this afternoon it had cleared up

PSA going down?
I've been on a ADT vacation for a little over two years - and my PSA is rising and i was expecting to go back on ADT this month - but my results came back and showed a dramatic drop. My recent history is: June&July 2022 - 0.2 Sept 2022 - 0.4 Nov 2022 - 0.6 Dec 2022 - 1.1 Jan 2023 - 1.5 Feb 2023

Xtandi and Talzenna
The following is an article I downloaded from urotoday.com in October last year. I gather talzenna has been approved for breast cancer treatment for some time but the outcome from the phase 3 Talepro -2 trail shows great results for prostate cancer. Does anyone know if Pfizer has sought approval for

Decision time – looking for opinions/advice please
My Bio gives full details, but in a nutshell, I was diagnosed with APCa with extensive bone mets last year, have been on ADT for 7 months and Xtandi for 4 months. I had a CT scan in December which showed little change from the previous one in August except for some progression in a pelvic lymph node

Rad 140 restart
Had new labs done yesterday and the numbers look very good PSA 0.05 and falling from 0.08 Liver enzymes are well within normal range after restarting Zytiga about 4 months ago With the idea of restarting SARMs @ 5mg RAD 140 and 1 mg Cardarine, I had a Lipid panel done to get a baseline on HDL and

Perplexed Pathology Report Findings
I am a 64 year old male with a strong family history of CaP (father and brother). Late last year I experienced a rapid rise in my PSA 2.8-4.7 within six months. I had a MRI early January that identified 3 large lesions: 1 PIRADS 5 (23mm), x2 PIRADS 4 (16mm and 9mm). Two weeks ago I had a 15 core targeted
