Too soon to be concerned?
My profile has background info., but, been getting bloodwork every one to two weeks lately as WBC count hasn't come back to normal since final chemo (Oct 24, 2022) and restarted abiraterone about 6 weeks ago. Since I've been getting CBC and CMP each time, I also get PSA tested. The past 2 weeks my

Strength Training Problem; Advice?
I know that many of you are well practiced in the art and science of strength training, so Iām hoping you might be able to help me here. My only therapy for mPC DX 4 years ago has been ADT (Lupron & abiraterone). So far so good in that my PSA remains < 0.1 and occasional imaging indicates that my upper

Turmeric and PSA test
Hi All, waiting for MO to respond to this, but figured one of you might know and give a more timely response. Husband started taking Turmeric Curcumin (2000 mg) in December for sore knees and hips. January 3rd PSA test was down from 3.01 to 2.71 ( Yeah!) But I read today that turmeric can

Failed Docetaxel, just like everything else.
So my MO took me off the Docetaxel after 4 sessions. PSA rose from 120 before the first session to over 300 just before session 4. Scans showed substantial expansion of cancer including lymph nodes as of 1-20. That's a documentary all by itself. Now MO wants to put me on Xtandi and will eventually (

PSA Doubling Time
I suspect there are many ways to calculate PSA ādoubling timeā but I seem to have a bit of a head scratcher. Have had a prostatectomy, radiation, Zolodex and finished 8 months of degarelix end of Aug. By 25 Oct my PSA was 0.44. On 15 Dec it was 1.99 and 18 days later on 03 Jan it was 2.84. By my Oncologist

Genetics test has BRAC2 mutation
PSA rising from 0.7 to 1.2 in 3 months, Genetics test has BRAC2 mutation, MO asked to stop Zytiga/Prednisone (being on it for 3.5 years), will start Olaparib (Lynparza) next week, does any have experience with Oplaparib?

Is anyone currently doing TRT or BAT?
I was dx'd stage 4, G8 in 2018, at age 49, after 44 EBRT sessions and one year of ADT/lupron, I rejected any further ADT after experiencing horrible, life altering side effects and learning about it's actual efficacy. My PSA kept rising ever so slightly, so I pushed for a PSMA PET scan for two years

PSA projection model?
is there a mathematical model that is used to estimate trajectory of PSA rise? Certainly doubling rate is a consideration easy enough to calculate, but at what point do these rates become non-linear? My last 3-yrs on Keytruda have been great - life pretty much back to normal. Yr 1undetectable PSA;

PSA staying down--would any kind of scan be helpful?
Hello: For starters----my PSA went down to .01---July 2022,. Oct 2022 it was less than <.01 and January 2023 it again is <.01. My last Nuclear bone scan was May 2022 and the bone mets were still pretty bright on my scan. I do not have bone pain, and I feel good, most days. I started on Xtandi in

Finished 6 cycles of chemo with Carboplatin added. Scans show mixed results. mipsma 2. Dr. Kwon is suggesting lutetium to push the cancer off the edge of the cliff. Heās suggesting to have it sooner rather than later. I have low tumor load. And Mets to Lymph nodes in pelvic region and subclavical. My
