Will doxycycline hyclate 100mg get rid of a salivary gland stone?
I've had this for about a month now, and the doctor prescribed me amoxicillin and it didn't work. He said that this doxycycline hyclate has an anti-inflammatory in it plus antibiotics and it will... But I'm skeptical of it after the amoxicillin so I want to see if I'm taking this for nothing again or

Long list of meds :( Will they cause problems with saliva and TFT blood tests?
Hello again, sorry I asked this question a week ago and now I am on more meds as I have a chest infection on top of the hayfever. Lucky me! :( Just wondered if they would cause any problems with blood test results and adrenal/ melatonin saliva test and when should i stop taking them before the tests

Catching a cold before a holiday
Hi everybody. I was diagnosed with moderate COPD at the beginning of the year (Fev1 56%), although I believe I have suffered from it for years. I have smoked all my life (I am 63) so I guess deserved it! I don't feel that my condition has 'progressed' a great deal over the last ten years - and I am

Hi. I have hidradenitis suppurativa. does everyone else get the same antibiotic routine over and over?
Always starts with amoxicillan, then flucloxacillan, coamoxiclav and then oxytetracycline. then back to the beginning. Does anyone know of anything else that might help me?

Bronchiectasis advice needed please :-)
Hi Everyone, So I saw the GP last friday. He said that after my 3rd lot of amoxicillin I should have been moved on to something else. He has put me on 200mg of cefixime twice a day for two weeks. I asked about going to the RBH and he said that it was down to my current consultant to make that referral

Bronchiectasis and Haemophilus Influenzae
Hi everyone, I am 31 and was diagnosed with bronchiectasis in august 2012. It followed a 2 year period of having chest infections that wouldn't quite go away. At first they thought it was asthma but after trying inhalers and peak flow tests it showed that was not the case. I then had spirometery tests

Antibiotics and Prednisolone
Hello I've got a chest infection and have been given amoxicillin and prednisolone to take to try and sort it out. My lungs are really hurting at the moment. I've never taken them together before and wondered whether it is common to take both together, it feels like a lot of medication. Also, sorry

Need antibiotics but recently reacted badly to Amoxicillin
Currently suffering with annual bout of sinusitis that is only relieved by taking antibiotics. Around a month ago my dentist prescribed 7 days supply for a tooth infection. I noticeably felt dreadful when taking them and, in any case, they did not clear up the infection. I need to make an emergency
