Always starts with amoxicillan, then flucloxacillan, coamoxiclav and then oxytetracycline. then back to the beginning. Does anyone know of anything else that might help me?

I had a course of tetracycline, 1 a day for 6 months and it put the abcesses into remission for 4 months, would have been longer but had bad endo flare up and the stress caused it to flare back up

Keep a diet diary. Have you something that you need that is missing from your diet. Or are you eating something that the exacerbates the symptoms.

This is for you to investigate.

Hope this helps.

Hi. Thanks for the advice. I'll certainly try this and see if I can discover anything.

I also found that when I had erythromycin for something different they cleared up well. Do you know what causes yours to come up? Mine come up if I'm unwell or stressed x

Hi Shelleh1979,

I don't have HS, but the DermNet NZ site has a full list of treatments: dermnetnz.org/acne/hidraden...

Hope you find something that helps,

Shell.
