I have moderate asthma. Due to pharmacy errors I had to take a 3-week break from taking Advair. I took my first dosage today and feel very jittery. Probably since the meds not being in my system for that long anyone else have this issue or have not taken a needed med for that long?

Yendo’s history with lung problems.
Diagnosed with asthma in 1972 and started on Ventolin. In 1987 I was rushed to hospital after suffering a severe asthma attack caused after taking two aspirin pills. Previously, I had been taking aspirin for years with no adverse reactions, but I was told that allergies can begin at any time of life.

Lung symptoms vs eye and nose symptoms
To those who are on "systemic" drugs for allergic asthma, what do you notice in terms of control of your lung symptoms vs control of allergic symptoms in the eyes and the nose? Do the systemic drugs resolve the lungs, nose, and eye symptoms altogether, or do the drugs only work for some, but not for

Changed my consultant
From a few days I am experiencing bronch exacerbation with increased sputum which is dark. This time I decided to go to a different doctor who is also a bronch specialist. He told that I will have to have azithromycin long term; 6-8 months per year. The next thing he did is to change my inhaler from

Very Scary SVT.
I ended up in the ER last night via ambulance because of a sudden heart rate of 198 -- it literally felt like it was beating out of my chest. I was breathless and panicky. I was told it was SVT, which I never had, and was given a drip of various drugs. It went down to 150, then finally six hours later

I don’t think my asthma was properly diagnosed for years. I think I have an atypical type. I was exposed to noxious fumes in 2010, for only a few minutes. I was removing belongings from my late mom’s home after her bedroom floor was sealed against animal odors. The smell was so strong, it was February

New and Saying Hello after COVID
Hello everyone. I'm pretty new so I thought I would say a quick hello. I am here because I got COVID in late October and had a pretty rough time with it. I am still suffering with labored breathing. The challenge is more pulling air into my lungs than breathlessness. During the acute infection,

RASHES WITH RA
Hi, I managed to see the nurse at my GP practice yesterday. I am wondering if any one else on Methotrexate, has vascular dermatitis or vascular eczema on their lower legs and ankles. It comprises of tiny red spots which are very sore and follow the line of the tiny capillaries just under the skin

Symbicort wasn't working...my lungs still feel tightness. Dr. Prescribes Advair 250 discus.
Hi everyone and thank you for reading because I'm a bit at a loss. As my post title says, the doctor prescribed Advair, but the pharmacy gave me Wixela Inhub, fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder 250 mcg/ 50 mcg. First of all, is this the same? Anyone here know if these 2 medications

Symbicort to Advair Diskus?
I've been on Symbicort 160/4.5 for almost 2 years for asthma. I just got new health insurance and they will only approve Advair Diskus. Should I be worried about it not working as well or getting sick from switching? Does anyone have any experience or advice? Thank you!
