What if medicine is not allowed?
I have taken adderall for over 35 years but had to stop due to an irregular heart beat. Alternatives caused problems and now I am not on any medication. However my A fib and irregular heart beat have been replaced by a regular heart beat. I am forgetful, more impulsive and overall less intelligent.

26F Late diagnosis: any advice appreciated
I spent my whole life trying to be neuro-typical when in all reality I had undiagnosed adhd the whole time. I had no idea I had it until my partner asked me if I had ever been tested three months ago when working from home made my symptoms worse. After working with my psychiatrist I got my official diagnosis

Signs of Medication Dosage Too Low
What signs are the big signs in your opinion? Of dosage too low? I am nervous to ask my psychiatrist to go above my current dose (20 mg adderall IR 2x daily) because he already said 40 is a very big dose which may be true, but I'm only ever on 20 mg at a time if you think about it! I am a 28 year old

Trying to be a better human!
I'm 31 life long ADHD only diagnosed about a year ago. By the grace of God I have been able to go to work still during COVID. I pray for those stuck at home I couldn't imagine trying to sell cars from home with my wife and 4 kids, all under 10, running wild. But we are slow sometimes, not normal for

Adderall xr doesn’t seem to work as well?
She switched me to
Adderall
XR
30 mg and
Adderall
10mg at 4pm. The first couple of days seemed fantastic. Like even better then the vyvanse. I’ve been taking it for about 4 weeks and the last 2 or so I’ve been having more headaches and I’m getting so sleepy about 3 hours after I take it.

ADHD is ruining my life :(
I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 5. I also had a lot of impulse activity. Like hurting people and Not realizing I was going to hurt them until they were hurt. Very apologetic after I heard them. I thought it went away until I went back to college and can concentrate on any lecture. That’s when I

Saw a tele-psychiatrist for 10 mins and got prescribed Strattera.. Am I diagnosed?
I recently did an appointment with a board certified psychiatrist via telehealth, he had me explain myself for about 2 minutes, asked me some questions about anxiety, depression, etc and then said that he thinks I have ADHD. He then proceeded to prescribe me Strattera, and tell me to make an appointment

Needing advice
I'm now on
Adderall
XR
however I am so tired that I'm wondering if it's worth it. I'm almost afraid to say anything to her because she makes me feel ashamed. I'm afraid if I switch doctors again the people are going to think I'm Doctor shopping. I'm so unsure as what to do?!

Need realistic expectations
I’m new here. I am a 42 year old female and I was diagnosed with ADHD combined type when I was 39. I have tried taking Ritalin, Vyvanse and Adderall and I try to learn and practice strategies to deal with the symptoms but so far it feels like a losing battle. I just recently realized that I’m not sure

Experience with Insurance denial of Mydaysis (or other medication) process from denial of prior authorization to 3 level final review?
My insurance company has denied a new prescription for Mydaysis. My provider believes it will help with my Adderall ER tolerance. Ultimately the denial was upheld although I have taken EVERY adhd medication with the exception of Focalin (currently taking to move process along with NO success) and Strattera

Fatigue and meds
I’m just curious how other people with debilitating fatigue are dealing with it... prior to treatment. I m still watch and wait and have been sparingly using adderall for fatigue after trying various other homeopathic treatments, I recently moved to OKC and docs here don’t prescribe it!
