More about Dexascan / AA / Adcal
Anyhow, my GP prescribed me AA and
Adcal
-D3 early May on basis I had been on Pred since PMR arrived in March 2021. I plucked up courage to say I would rather not take (esp) AA unless I knew it was necessary.

Kidney problems
I have recently started Anastrazole and
Adcal
and Alendronic Acid tablets for bone density. My cancer is progressing and I don't believe the Anastraxole is having any positive effect. I also have a morphine patch for pain relief.

Decrease in Levo?
I’m taking
Adcal
calcium and vitamin D (only recently started) and 100 mcg Mercury Pharma Levothyroxine. I eat sensibly and walk a minimum of 40 minutes every day, couple of hours a day at weekends.

Can we take AD-cal at the same time as Pred?
that I shouldn't take my Pred at the same time as my
Adcal
- but I now I can't find where I read it. Has anyone any knowledge on this and, if it is true, what is a reasonable time lapse between the two drugs? Thank you.

Heart rate over 100. Should I lower or up my Levo??
The Doctor prescribed
Adcal
-D3 Lemon chewable tablets that I take twice a day. I’m also taking Thorne basic B complex and also Holland and Barrett’s B12. All the last tests were done at 9am with no Levo 24h before and stopped all supplements 5days before.

Feeling really down
Also, due to the fact that the Omeprazole will affect my bones, I am taking
Adcal
and Alendronic Acid, as I already have osteoporosis. Had anybody else taken these without unpleasant side effects? I am feeling so tired and in pain, and I so want to enjoy my son's visit later in the year. Jenny

Hashimoto's, levothyroxine intolerance. Help please anyone?
I also have Trimbow inhaler due to COPD, plus Simvastatin, and Alendronic Acid and
Adcal
D3, Paroxetine and Mirtazapine, all for several years or more. I had a premature menopause in my 30's, and have osteoporosis. I am now 62. The antidepressants were my saviour back then!!!

Timings of meds...
Meds are omeprazole at 7.30, pred with breakfast at 8-8.30, first
Adcal
at 11 ish, last at 9ish. AA still reluctantly, but in the weekly advisory way. Question...where is the best place to take K2....and perhaps magnesium because of leg cramps?

It's back what supplements are ok?
As this time I'll be on Omeprazole as well as the Pred and
AdCal
I realise this is a different chemical mix from last time so in this respect I'm a newbie.

Low Adjust calcium and changed ranges for T4 and TSH
I am on
Adcal
and have been for years due to my low Adjusted calcium, but hasn’t been this low before. Would this level make me feel as bad as I do? 2. The T4 range has been changed so the range is lower than it used to be.

Mornings
I had a dexa scan a year ago which showed borderline osteopenia and I take
Adcal
-D3. I also showed negative on the Rheumatoid factor test. My last CRP and ESR were on 14th Feb and both good. I have since reduced to 5mg from 5.5mg. The wrist pain has become more noticeable since then.

Adcal-D3
Hi, I fractured a vertebrae in my spine in September. I’m 66 with no family history of osteoporosis. Besides Hashimotos I also have Sjögren’s. My blood tests last year showed my vitamin D levels were inadequate so at my GP’s request I took vitamin D3. However, after a few months I began to have heart

Vitamins D and K2 and Adcal
I was interested that John Campbell didn't have much time for
Adcal
. I had reached the same opinion and stopped taking it. He also talked about K2 and I thought I must get them, looked it up on Amazon and found that I bought some last month.

I’m being ahead of my game but....
I’m definitely not in any hurry to reduce quickly, but thinking ahead [ok, I’m dreaming], to when the day comes when I get down to say 1mg, will it be essential to stay on the AA, Omeprazole and
Adcal
tablets or if the Pred is that low then can I stop the other meds?
