I have no thyroid or parathyroid due to thyroid cancer many years ago. Now just having ab fib diagnosed I am having to take Apixaban,Flecainide acetate along with Propanolol. I also take Rovuvastatin( also thyroxine & adcal. ) I am not feeling at all well on theses meds - is it suitable & necessary to take all these things ?

Morning. As you’ve been prescribed them, I’d say yes. My mum’s thyroid didn’t function and she had AF. She was on Apixaban to prevent clots and consequent strokes ...but only after having a TIA so she had a near miss there! Also a betablocker (Bisoprolol) to make it easier for her heart to pump and an ARB (candesartan in her case) for her BP.

I don't know because I'm not a Doctor or any other sort of clinician.What you might consider it talking to a Pharmacist. They are knowledgeable about the different drug interactions. They won't necessarily be able to say whether you need all of them, but it may give you a starting point to talk to the GP
