Fed Up Of Being In Pain

Was hospitalised at September due to a terrible infection called acute cholecystitis. My gallstones started hurting last Thursday and I'm still in pain now! I take 400mg of Tramadol and 600mg of Naproxen FFS every day for my back. Why am I still hurting 😞😫

High ggt

I had an acute cholecystitis infection in my gallbladder and my common bile duct was blocked with a very large gallstone. Both had to be removed laparotomy but now almost 7 weeks post surgery. My liver function test was taken at 4.5 weeks and was given news that my GGT levels are very high.

Newly diagnosed hubby feeling lost

Gallstones with pericholecystic oedema and fluid likely to represent acute cholecystitis so he was sent home having been put on the waiting list for his gallbladder removal surgery and a low fat diet sheet.

Swelling

I was diagnosed with acute cholecystitis recently. Is I normal for your stomach to swell with this condition?

Hepatic echotexture and Cholelithiasis

Ultrasound (US) done this week revealed two items I know nothing about: “mildly coarsened hepatic echotexture, nonspecific appearance” and secondly: “cholelithiasis without secondary signs of acute cholecystitis.” US was done for bloating and unexplained weight gain.

My doctor thought it was "just" IBS

I'm surprised how similar some of the symptoms of chronic IBS and acute cholecystitis can be.
