I was diagnosed with acute cholecystitis recently. Is I normal for your stomach to swell with this condition?

This would be an unusual symptom , usually people have pain , possibly fever . Are you taking medication for it ?

As you said in PM, if you have just finished antibiotic therapy, it may be a side effect of these . Of course if you have any pain , fever or feel generally unwell please seek medical advice.
